I think you just need to become friends with your dowline.
I'm not saying friends in real life (but that happens too sometimes) but friends through facebook and other social networks. I'm sure they have at least at one social network a profile of their own and you can ask them if they want to become friends there with you or connect with you because you can help them there too.
That's maybe the best way to keep in touch with them from time to time.
But we all know that there's people who want to get rich over night so they will give up no matter how hard you try to motivate and help them. If they give up so easy and don't even want to try out SFI for a bit longer, then just wish them a good luck and move on with your business, don't waste time on them.
