There isn't a bulletproof way to stop people from quitting. The only way to build your down line is to keep sponsoring new affiliates until one of them realizes the opportunity you gave him/her and starts working the system.
What you CAN do is always be supportive, make guides and tutorials on how to do everything from the early steps to the final stages of setting up your business. Make Step-by-Step guides with screenshots for some of the more complicated actions and send it to the affiliates that stay. Buy or write a guide on how make and post ads (if you yourself know how to do it - of course) and hold it ready for the "Workers".
Roam around, buy a few e-books that could help you build your business and share them with your team if they decide to stay with you. Make them feel loved and show them you genuinely care for their success more than for your own. Always focus on your TEAM - you are going to grow with them. Celebrate every success and every step forward you or ANY of your team members make. This will help them be more self-confident and bold.
Lead by example - always give a good one. Don't waste your time on people who log out before you can even write them a welcome message. They'll maybe come back after they realize how successful you got while you write your regular team mails. NEVER GIVE UP and share that with your down line.
EVERYTHING you do in SFI pays off on the long run in more than just one level.
