The best way will be to lead by example. You must never give up. Stick to the course regardless the ups and downs and they will see that and learn to kill the doubt before it grows. Discourage negative talk as much as possible by changing it to something positive.
Another good way will be to keep them motivated. This means that you will have to take time to know each affiliate in your team. Check their profile and see their stated goals and what really interests them. Then form a relationship with them. Sometimes from casual conversations with them you may know if they are discouraged or troubled about any aspect of SFI.
Help them to keep focused on their goals. I make it a goal to check on each team member every day just to encourage them. Answer all of their questions and help them to overcome whatever they may see as hurdles or obstacles. Try to get to the root of the problem. Be patient in doing this. If they are not asking questions then you ask thought-provoking questions so you will know how and what they are thinking.
Give incentives and award achievements every step of the way. Congratulate them via your Newsletter, Stream or Forum. People always feel good when they see their name mentioned in a good way.
Keep coaching and help them to direct their path. Never force them to do anything. And never criticize your slow movers. Recognize their efforts. If you have a large down line and cannot give individual attention, form them into groups and arrange buddies so that no one will feel left out. This will help them to see that you care about each team member. Keep reminding them that they are not alone – ever!
Continue to be an awesome sponsor! Once you have done your best, you won't feel discouraged it their decision is to quit.
