First of all, know what SFI teaches, what it's standards are, and how they impact your business and those of your PSAs. Next take stock of your actions. Are you worthy of being duplicated? If not, how high on your line of sponsorship do you have to go to find someone worth duplicating? When you find him or her, begin a relationship and begin duplicating that person yourself.
The person who first said "Don't reinvent the wheel." had it right. If "something isn't broken, don't fix it." Why do you think the businesses you tried out previously didn't work? Someone thought he could design a better business. None of those businesses have what SFI has put together. They have some of it, but not all.
So when you begin to teach your PSAs to follow your example, tell them why each step is important. Give them examples of your past and form a relationship with them so they begin to trust both you and SFI.
There are so many who won't trust you. They don't even log in and follow your Leadership Page and see your badges. They will never know when you achieve your goal level of success. Take heart, it's on them.
Reward publicly those who are duplicating you as they move up the steps to success.
One big thing to remember: if your sponsor is not doing his job, that is not your downline's worry. They do not need to know. If you bring negativity to his name, then when he does catch on and become useful to you, they will not accept him. And, remember you will then be on trial, too.
We can all do the business alone, duplicating the training given by SFI. But it is so much easier and enjoyable when you are part of a team, that has a good leader, who's members are all going in the same direction, working together for a common goal. I like to think of my team as developing the closeness of a fighter team doing their display at an air show. Their success depends on every member of the team, and it is measured at the end of the show.
