When I first started with SFI and had not yet gotten my feet wet in the business I asked myself that question. I noticed there were those who had been a member of SFI for several years and they were only EA2 or BTL and others only a few months and they were STL or GTL. It all started to make sense once I learned what the business was all about and how individuals advanced. SFI is a business that requires work, determination and dedication and even with those things I believe there is also an element of "pure luck or good fortune." Of course good luck will only take one so far and relying on luck is never a good recipe for true success.
The affiliates that advance quickly are foremost hard diligent workers. They have goals and they are driven to accomplish them. Many affiliates are not newbies to Internet marketing, they know their way around the block, they know how to advertise and where, they are experienced with PPC (Pay-per-click) advertising, many have other successful online businesses in addition to SFI. They have business associates and connections that you and I don't have that are a support for them.
I believe other affiliates may have a difficult time due to language barriers which may cause them not to advance as quickly as others. Inexperience ones will always advance slower than someone that is a guru at internet marketing. There are affiliates that do not have the financial means to promote their business and as a result advance slower then individuals with an open wallet.
Having stated the above; the most important thing is to continue working your business and devote your all to it. If you have only time then make the best use of your time promoting your gateways and talking with different ones. Ask questions of those that are advancing quickly (copy them). If you are doing all you are capable of doing you will eventually see results. Remember, SFI is not a race, its not a competition. We only need to improve upon what we do from one day to the next. If we do this then we are SUCCESSFUL whether it takes a few weeks, months or years.
