My suggestion would be to encourage them to set up a standing order. A standing order will allow them to gain versa points on their purchases on a monthly basis.
As their sponsor I would assist them financially with that standing order so that they can receive the returns of funds and use the funds they earned from me helping them, to sustain that standing order which would give them a fixed and consistent number of versa points each month.
