No matter how busy you are, spare part of your time communicating with your downline. Your bright ideas would be worthless if you would not share them and got many ways to reach each affiliates. You can send them CSAs Mailers, PSAs Mailers, Group Mailers, skype, email them through their email addresses, or chat with them when you are both on line with SFI.
Create a sound environment of communication using soft tone words yet direct points. Let them feel free to exchange views with you as a team. Respect other's opinion if you want your opinion be respected.
Remember that affiliates come from 197 countries. Differences do exist and can not be easily erased. You need to recognize, identify, appreciate and take the advantage of the differences since you can not treat everyone the same. Treat them the way they are and expand your understanding that they are different from you but got the same potential to be a leader like you.
Be honest with them, share your experiences and tell them how you were able to surpass bad experiences you have encountered in SFI if you got one. Never scold them when they made mistakes. They would soon realized those mistakes when they experience the bad results for the errors they made.
Be involved and stay involve when you create an advertising co-op for your group. With this they would feel you are around whether the results is good or a failure.
Communication should not be one way. You need to listen to your teammates. Who knows they might have brilliant ideas than you are. Give respect on other ideas to let them know that you are open-minded.
There is no secret in developing trust. It would depend on how you want others to treat you. Take your shoes at other's shoes for you to understand then and how you can deal with them.
A good leader is a good follower. Set yourself as a example and they would follow your footsteps.
