I think the best way to help them get started is to:

1) Encourage them to get 500VP in the first day for Fast Track.
2) Encourage them to read the LaunchPad series where they will learn all about SFI.
3) Continue to remind them of these two things:
a) Keep things simple - there is so much training here and different ways to build your business, but in the end it's a very simple 3-step program - become EA and stay EA, find 4-5 others to do the same, teach those 4-5 others to do the same thing as you (to find their 4-5 others!)...
b) Remember that it is not a get-rich scheme - it takes some time, possibly even months or 1-2 years depending on the motivation of the affiliate to build a successful business and income stream.

So encourage them to stay persistent, and do something each day and most of all - not to give up, but instead to give it a few months.
