I always greet my new PSAs or CSAs with a personal welcome email. I give them all of my contact information, including Skype since some of them may be international. I give them the basic overview of what to do to get started and to contact me with any questions or if they need assistance. I think knowing that someone is personally there to help them makes them feel better about SFI and they will start to work the system. I also encourage the 500 VPs within 24-hours to get the extra 200 VPs that are gone once they are gone.
