I always send them an email telling them I'm ready to help them start earning money and offering my help.

I think the most important thing to convey to them is that #1 SFI will work, IF you will, and #2 I'll be there to help each step of the way. Then it's up to them.

I also tell them straight up that if they are willing to put the effort in, I will help them build their team. I offer them new affiliates of their own if they can hit the 30-Day VP Streak badge, if they earn the 1000 Ask SC Votes badge, and for every 500 VP they earn (after they earn EA the first time).

These incentives encourage them to get in the habit of logging in every day, getting more familiar with the SFI program, and learning from the Ask SC tab, which I think has a lot of good information for new affiliates.

It also encourages those without money to invest, because if they show the initiative, they will still be earn an affiliate or two each month.
