That's a good question but in my experience so far I think Sponsoring affiliates is a much better revenue source than just referring TC members. When you sponsor affiliates you get a lifetime income source so long as the affiliates are active. With TC members you only get occasional customers who only buy stuff once or twice and then the just don't use the TC store anymore. The good thing about sponsoring affiliates is that all the affiliates you sponsor are automatic TC members so if they decide to buy something then you earn commissions on all of their purchases. So to answer your question, sponsoring affiliates will make you become more successful but don't neglect referring TC members too!
