If you thoroughly look at the Special features of "Strong Future International" Internet Company, i.e. SFI, It has got its own style of encouraging / create feel good effect for the new members, during joining to SFI with Unique training programme's : (a)Start - (b)SFI Basics - (c)Launchpad. Along with this, regular team mails reminders, recaps, etc. which is more than sufficient to understand about SFI & Business strategies.
I feel your 'Welcome to SFI' mail will be an additional motivation for a new member. (just to give support, say, i am here to take care of you & help you if required).
Whatever information exceeding (from the above) for new team members is no doubt "TOO MUCH".
