I think it is always good to contact your team when you feel a need to ask for help, ideas or any questions.
As for your downlines, if they are in contact with you often than i do not see why you cant approach them when you want to.
Even though I myself have not heard from any of my downliners I see that one of them has come back and collected some more points.....still have no words from him but I am sure there will come a time when they will feel right to contact me.
You are doing well to keep your contact now and than, as you never know when one decides to give SFI another chance.
Keep going with your daily or weekly emails--team mails and sure enough there will be results for you and me one fine day.
