I guess that if you have been constantly in touch or in contact and have in the process build up some rapport or relationship via the various available avenues be it  through Group Mailers or SFIMG or emails etc then there is no need for you to push it
Otherwise what I would do is to write them a short message via any of the available channels and offer some tips as well as some support and lastly round it up with a reminder to solicit for their feedback on what I could do better in terms of supporting  them and for further improvement bearing in mind that this is only applicable to affiliates  who are at least in their second month with SFI and have them submit the rating so that besides earning 10 VPs they also can help to rate and offer feedback for it
