"Why don't more people work towards advancing in SFI?"
Very good question!
There can be a number of reasons why new affiliates hesitate or simply do not attempt to advance in SFI...
1) Time - Some people see SFI as an interesting opportunity but really don't have the extra time to learn the system and see its real potential. (Most of the affiliates that join under these circumstances lead really busy lives and saw this opportunity while passing through. You can only offer your assistance to help teach them if they have the time to listen and read)
2) Motivation - Some people see the real potential of SFI but lack the motivation to move on it. (This is surprisingly, probably the biggest group. They want it, but can't easily see how to get it! It is up to you to make them feel comfortable, teach them all you can and help them develop the motivation to succeed. The first step is always the hardest.)
3) Impatient - Many are looking for a get rich quick scheme that really works. Truth be told, unless you win the lottery or get very very lucky... this business just simply does not exist. (This group will get lost in reading about the opportunity and lose interest very quick. You must let everyone know up front, SFI is not going to make you a millionaire overnight, but if you work the system at your own pace you will see growth and develop a system that works for you that will expand your business to huge proportions. Millionaire status is reachable, but it requires work, dedication, and persistence.)
4) Fear - Some affiliates fear they don't stand a chance to succeed in any business of their own. They are just interested in what is out there. (They are generally also looking for the easy route to riches. It takes the right kind of person to take control and build a home business. Network marketing can be a tough business, but SFI provides a sound system and several income streams.
I could name a few more obvious answers, but these are the key groups that need that little extra push from you as their sponsor or co-sponsor.
