When i joined SFI 8 years ago, we never used to have SFI Chat and we could only rely on emails. Look at how relationships are strengthened when you are chatting with your friends in Facebook or Skype and there is immediate response.
This chat eradicates the illusion of people thinking that messages sent to them via emails are computer generated but a real person just like them. Usually, when an affiliate joins and i happen to be online, i immediately initiate the chat so as to make sure that they are right on track and not end up confused. On top of it, its a cheaper means of communication and faster considering that your are far apart in this world.
On another instance, when i am online and i can see one of my PSA is online, i also iniatiate a chat and find out how they are doing. I ask them if they have seen the latest SFI news and whats their take on it. This is reaffirming to your PSA that you are ready to work with them and most importantly as a TEAM.
SFIM is the best thing ever but i still feel that they need to upgrade it by informing you with a beep sound when you receive a message from someone. I had raised that issue Gery and he promised me that they will work on it. Above all, its a great communication tool for your SFI online business.
