If an Affiliate becomes dormant, I assume that at some stage they have been working and have accumulated some VP and have now become dormant.
In this regard, they probably know basically what to do to earn VP but have become disillusioned perhaps because they have not seen the big dollars rolling in.
Firstly, I would direct them to the LaunchPad Lesson Day 11. I would then explain to them the things that make a business a business. That is ALL businesses need to start with some sort of plan, even if it is only an online business.
How does the old saying go? If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
I would then issue them with 10 TCredits. Follow this about 5 days later with a $5 Gift Voucher. Watch to see if these have been used and the member is logging in. If so, reassign them 1 downline member to work with. This gives them some encouragement. Contact both parties to let them know how you are working with your downline.
I have successfully re-activated Affiliates using this method. This also has a twofold effect of earning yourself VP as well as an active Affiliate.
