This is a Good Question;
Before I send my first letter to my new CSA's I do the following:
I always check three things when I receive new CSA's:
The first thing I check is the date that they Joined SFI. By doing this I find out if they are new to SFI or if they have been with SFI for a period of time.
If they are New to SFI, then I send them a Welcome Letter and I let them know how they can get started with SFI, I also let them know that I am here to help them and support them.
After my welcome letter, I proceed with my normal mailings to all of my Team Members once a week.
If they have been with SFI for a period of time, I send them a Welcome Letter and I let them know that I am their New Co-Sponsor and I also let them know that I am here to help them and support them.
After my welcome letter, I proceed with my normal mailings to all of my Team Members once a week.
The second thing I check is, if they are active or in-active. By doing this, then I know what type of response to give to them as me being their new Co-Sponsor.
If they have been in-active, then I send them a Welcome letter, I introduce myself as their new Co-Sponsor and I would explain about how to get started with SFI again. I also let them know that I am here to help them and support them.
After my welcome letter, I proceed with my normal mailings to all of my Team Members once a week.
If they have been active, then I send them a welcome letter, I introduce myself as their new Co-Sponsor and I also let them know that I am here to help them and support them.

The last thing I check is, who is their Sponsor and if their sponsor is active or in-active or new to SFI. By doing this, then I know what type of response to give them.
If they have an active Sponsor, then I just send my Welcome Letter and introduce myself as their new Co-Sponsor and that I am here to help and support them.
After my welcome letter, I proceed with my normal mailings to all of my Team Members once a week.
If they have an in-active or a new SFI member as a Sponsor, then I would send my Welcome Letter and introduce myself as their new Co-Sponsor and also how they would get started with SFI and that I am here to help and support them.
After my welcome letter, I proceed with my normal mailings to all of my Team Members once a week.
Also, I might pick a topic of interest, (ex. Rules of Success) and I will do extra mailings on such topics. Which I sent one rule per day for 20 days.
I will also send a letter with any types of Updates that might come out by our President, Gery Carson.
I treat all of my CSA's just like I would treat my PSA's, because you do not know what type of support that their Sponsor's are giving them, so I always try to pick a topic and then share that information with all of my Team Members.
I do not send a lot of mail to my team. I do my weekly mailings, (which everyone who is a member of SFI has this one task to do, so we are all aware of the mailings each week).
I myself, never receive a weekly mail from either my Sponsor nor my Co-Sponsor. So, by me sending to all of my Team, I am sharing whatever type of information that I would think that they would learn from, because if they have no one like myself, then they don't have any type of support coming in anywhere from anyone.
To answer your question, the answer for me is No, I do not just let the Sponsor take care of them.
By me being a Co-Sponsor for someone, I want to be the best Co-Sponsor that I can be, so I will treat all of my CSA's no different then how I would treat my PSA's.
For you just don't know how much help or support that their Sponsor's are giving them.
And hopefully, I am not overwhelming anyone of my Team Members.
