I think it is very easy for new members to be overwhelmed when they first enter SFI. First of all I would try to find out why they are thinking of giving up, then you have a good idea where to direct your help.
If the reason is lack of understanding, help them to stick to the basics first of all and ensure they keep it simple, by just visiting SFI each day and doing the basics, whilst learning gradually from places like the launchpad and SFI Basics. Let them know that everyone felt the way they did at first and that this business is certainly a gradual learning process - AND that people progress at different speeds, so not to be put off if their particular process is going to take longer than others who appear to be steaming ahead.
Explain to them the best ways of helping them to grow their business if they can afford to invest a little money, i.e., standing orders for S-Builder Co-ops, TCredits and IAHBE.
And I think most importantly, tell them they are not alone in this business. I have had so much help from my upline that I feel I know some of them as friends, even though I have never met them and we don't even live in the same countries.
