1. If phone number is given - call them by phone or skype.
2. If Email is given (as usually is) - find them in Facebook and Skype and in G-talk, YM and other social media facilities.
3. If only name is given then do the same as in 2. and searched in google and find the needed information.

B. Prepare you topic/goal in every stage of communications. Make it interesting, informative and fun so that he/she will keep on communicating with you. Simply put it, be prepared on what they need.
