Our home businesses online are no different than brick and mortar shops. The consensuses in the business world from what I read, is that a shop owner may go a year or two before turning a profit depending on the industry, and explaining the reality of business may help them relax a bit. Discouragement comes from false expectations and the exaggerations of internet gurus' wild claims. Having said that, I would send my affiliates some tweets they could copy and tweet. I's make things fun like that. Maybe make up games and contests to put the fun into this. After all if we wanted to stress, we could go back to the unemployment lines.
