How do we get the most from the MRP (Member Rewards Points) we earn?

This question has only just been asked and already there have been a lot of answers from SFI affiliates. What they all say is quite valid. BUT I have a different way of thinking about Member Rewards Points. (Note too, it is member rewards points not member reward points – the word “rewards” is plural.)

Most answers to this question support the idea of using MRP to obtain and/or retain one’s rank in SFI, and usually by suggesting that you buy 1 TCredit for 126 MRP so you can receive 102 VersaPoints (VP) for the purchase and hence become an Executive Affiliate (EA) again.

Yes, that is one use of MRP, but REALLY, is it the best use of them?

Shouldn’t we consider what MRP are?

SFI give them to us as a “reward” for all our hard work in SFI.

Do we do anything in SFI just to get the MRP? No we don’t.

MRP are a bonus - a lovely bonus – that we get every time we purchase a product or service from TripleClicks, play a Game, bid in a Pricebusters Auction, download a song, and for being a W3 member.

Initially as I saw my MRP total growing I thought I would save up and buy TCredits with them. I worked out that the best value I could get from my MRP was if I bought 200 TCredits. That would cost me 11,960 MRP or 59.8 MRP per TCredit. And I nearly did that too.

Then I thought that a better way of using MRP would be to use them to PROMOTE MY SFI BUSINESS. Actually this is an extension of what SFI say about us having a TripleClicks Prepaid Mastercard from Payoneer

Using MRP internally within SFI to buy TCredits is a bit like a big corporation shuffling paper between departments – does it actually create wealth? And it doesn’t produce anything that you can see.

And, REALLY, where is your “AIM HIGH! – DREAM BIG!” motto in this approach? Will you ever grow a profitable business by thinking this small?

ARE YOU SERIOUS?

May I suggest that you should be trying to SAVE income from your current budget and to TRANSFER BUY to invest in your SFI business. Perhaps you think you can’t do that. Maybe you can’t –but have your REALLY tried?

Please, I am not being negative. I just think that to succeed in SFI you have to have the right attitude.

WHEREAS, if you use MRP to REWARD yourself by buying something EXTRA from TripleClicks – something you don’t have already. Then you have both a product that ENHANCES your lifestyle in some way AND you have something that is PHYSICAL proof that SFI is a real business – you have something you can show to your family and friends and tell them, “I got this FOR FREE from my SFI business”.

And this is what I have done. I have used my MRP to buy two things from SFI so far: -

1. An Italian leather wallet. The one I had been using for many years was worn out and had holes in it. Now I have a very smart new leather wallet that I use everyday. It contains my bank cards, including my PAYONEER MasterCard, my loyalty cards, business cards and some receipts. It didn’t cost me one cent AND I got FREE shipping too.

2. A set of bathroom scales. Something I didn’t have but had wanted for some time. This one has about 6 functions. It’s a great aid to me leading a healthier lifestyle – something I strive to do (and am still working on). AND again I got it with FREE shipping.

And my MRP wish list includes such things as: - backpack, swim wear, camping gear, bike gear. (Actually it’s a pretty long list.)

And GUESS WHAT? Those two purchases used up all the MRP I had earned BUT as of today I have already earned another 4,826 MRP – so it’s almost time for me to GO MRP SHOPPING again. (I just LOVE SFI!!!)

So, you can think small, if you want too, and use MRP to buy single TCredits. OR you can AIM HIGH and DREAM BIG and use MRP to ENHANCE your life and REWARD yourself. May I suggest you choose the latter.

NOTE: I wish to add ”a big thank you” to all the ECAs that provide FREE SHIPPING too. That is almost an essential criteria I use when I am choosing which ECA to buy from.

How can being an SFI affiliate change your life?

Joining SFI has certainly changed my life in many ways.

Primarily it’s given me a NEW FOCUS. Now I spend time on my SFI business and not on other things. This means l need to find the time to do this. Finding the time is not so much a problem because I believe in SFI and I love it. This is what I wish to do. So, I give up other things. I spend less time watching television for instance. I even spend less time sleeping.

And I have become more time conscious, aware that I need to manage my time better – especially if I want to attend to all the DAILY tasks in SFI. If I want to maximize the benefits I may receive from SFI, I must plan my time carefully and I must give SFI PRIORITY so that I can achieve ALL I need to EACH day.

So the first thing that changes is my commitment to SFI and my determination to persevere with SFI and the development of self-discipline so that I can do this.

Everything else really flows from this.

There is HEAPS to learn. So I must develop a learning ATTITUDE. I must be prepared to enter unfamiliar territory and to challenge myself to learn and try new things. (I have still a long way to go in this area.) This area is the biggest change that has occurred, is occurring, and will occur in my life.

Girding this all together is a deep-seated FAITH that SFI works. You have to develop a tough hide because of all the negative comments that are thrown at you, especially when you can’t show INSTANT results in terms of commissions from all the hours you are putting into your SFI business.

And you must become IMMUNE to the disappointment with the realization that many of your team that you have so hopefully obtained and try to encourage decide to do NOTHING or even to BAG SFI.

BUT after all this I will REAP the REWARDS! It won’t be this year BUT it will be SOMETIME in the future.

Then my life WILL change in ways that NO-ONE can deny.

What are the best products to buy at TripleClicks if my object is to build my SFI business?

Most answers to this question list various TripleClicks products and services – TCredits, S-Builder, PSAs To Go, marketing products etc. And, YES, these kinds of products are essential to your business.

But these products are all SERVICE orientated. It’s a bit like if you want to talk to someone in English you must first learn to read, write and speak English. But what are you going to say? What will you sell?

For your SFI business to really GROW, be SUCCESSFUL and to be SUSTAINABLE long term you need to develop, market and sell products and services that replace what consumers are currently buying from elsewhere – either locally and from other online sources. This is called TRANSFER buying.

We should be transfer-buying ourselves and we should be encouraging local businesses to either list their products and services through our TripleClicks TConnect website or our ECA store, OR better yet, become ECAs themselves.

The more we grow the quantity and quality of the products and services available through our TripleClicks Superstore the more our SFI business will flourish.

We should focus on products and services that are consumable and needed regularly – so that we get repeat business.

We should focus on developing a worldwide market reach.

We should focus on helping our local businesses reach a worldwide market. This will improve the local economy and provide increased business and employment opportunities.

Not only will our SFI business succeed but our quality of life will also improve. No longer will we need to live in a big city to survive. Instead, provided we have reliable communications, we can live anywhere we like.

This is the real challenge of being successful in SFI and my long term goal.

What is the best way to find a mentor for SFI? Well, that’s easy - SFI is awash with mentor opportunities. Here is a short list: -

1. When you join SFI you are immediately given two sponsors: -
a. Your sponsor (you become his PSA), whose specific job is to look after you, and the first person you should turn to for mentoring, and
b. Your Co-sponsor (you become his CSA), your secondary sponsor and mentor, who is assigned to you.
The SFI system is set up to support them in doing this. You will immediately receive a welcome email from both and thereafter regular team mails, usually weekly, SFI values this commitment to team support so much that it awards Action VersaPoints to your sponsor and co-sponsor to encourage them to do this and you also are awarded Action VP each month for evaluating how well they have done this.
2. Your complete Upline Support Team from SFI is also listed from SFI Corporate down – that is five levels above Sponsor and Co-Sponsor. Each is available for you to contact. And they will also regularly contact you through the Stream Tab on your SFI Affiliate Center Home Page - https://www.sfimg.com/Home?tab=stream.

Personally I have found each of my upline to be a great source of information and particularly my sponsor, who responds quickly to any question I may have and who’s weekly chat team mails are very helpful.

3. And SFI also provides four other avenues of general help that are available to all affiliates. These are::-

Personally I have been extremely impressed with the responses I have had to my tickets.

Personally I accept any requests I receive to be an A2A friend and I have also sort out specific affiliates to be my A2A friend to help with a specific question I have and when I have asked for help they have always responded. I also find their messages through the Stream Tab to be very encouraging.

c. Similarly you can search, ask, and/or answer specific questions from other affiliates at the SFI Forum - https://www.sfimg.com/forum.
I have learnt a lot through reading forum posts.

d. And SFI provides a huge resource library of training through the SFI Affiliate Center Home Page where you can look up specific information yourself see - ww.sfimg.com/Home

So there are plenty of ways you can be mentored in SFI and I recommend that you explore all of them and use each as and when it best suits you.

Which is best … advertising individual TripleClicks products or the entire TripleClicks store?

The obvious answer is – why would you want to limit yourself to only doing one or the other?

So the real question is – when is it best to advertise the entire store and when is it best to advertise just a single product?

To answer this question let’s look at what SFI has to say about it?

You will find the link to this on your SFI Homepage – it’s the “LP” on the small green tab just to the left of your photo at the very top of your SFI Homepage. (Personally, I think this tab is MUCH too small and would suggest SFI enlarge it to make it easier to access.)

Do you use your Leadership Page? You should – it’s FREE!!!

(I guess LP stands for Leadership Page, but when you click on it you come to your Leadership Manager website. Again I wonder why SFI has two different names for the same thing?}

Your “LP” is a HUGE resource that you can use. It contains six webpages that you can use to advertise your SFI business.

Specific to this question is the TAB headed “I RECOMMEND”.

SFI encourages us to list up to nine products and services here that we wish to recommend to our downline (including our prospective downline). It is made up of two sections: -

1. We can list up to four SFI Services that we really like. I have listed S-Builder, Standing Order, WAVE3 and the FORUM as my four SFI Services because I use each of these services every month.

2. And we can also list up to five SFI/TC products that we really like. I have listed my own product from my own ECA store. I only have one product in my ECA store at present.

(I have yet to list any other products here. I want to but I also want them to be products that I have personally purchased. That has given me a problem because both the products I have purchased so far are no longer available at TripleClicks. One was a special. The other was from an ECA who is no longer registered. So in each case the product number is no longer available to promote. But let me just say here that I had excellent service from both ECAs and I was very happy with the products, price and delivery.)

And we are not limited to just nine items. Through TripleClicks we can advertise any of the currently 89,809 products and services listed.

Just select your product, click on the SFI AFFILIATES TAB and copy the item URL that is listed there.

For example, here’s one for a Samsung SGH-S500 cell phone.

(I have chosen this example because I know some affiliates do not have smartphones. So here is one that you could save up for and buy from TC. The cost is $43.00. And please note, this ECA is in Croatia. Isn’t that wonderful – an ECA could be from anywhere in the worldl!)

Note that this example has my SFI ID embedded in the URL but if you were to choose to promote this product it would be your SFI ID that would appear in the URL. And hence you will receive the commission.

So SFI certainly encourages us and makes it easy for us to advertise any single product or service available at TripleClicks.

And it is a very good idea to promote just a single product. This allows you to be very specific in choosing your target market. For example you could promote a specific item to a prospective customer who you know is looking to buy a similar product. Perhaps their favourite perfume, for example.

So promoting a single product is very desirable, and I would suggest it is one of the best ways to “spark” someone’s interest in TripleClicks and SFI.

BUT SFI also encourages us to promote ALL of an ECA’s listings. To do so just select the ECA you wish to promote. Click on one of their products. Go to the SFI AFFILIATE TAB for that product and click on the following link that appears: -

For this example I have chosen the most active ECA in New Zealand – Maree Designs.

(Although I haven’t bought anything from this ECA yet – I do intend to, I just don’t have any surplus disposable income at the moment - I am very happy to promote this store because it is from New Zealand, my home country.)

And that brings me to perhaps what I consider the most important reason to promote an ECA. By doing so you are growing the worldwide base of TripleClicks. I would encourage you to do this particularly in your own region and country because the stronger TC is in your area the easier it will be to sell TC's products and services.

In fact I consider ECA as one of the best programs SFI offers us and I also consider that it has HUGE potential to develop SFI and TC in our area, region and country. The more ECAs we promote the easier it will be to promote another one and the more local people will buy from TC. Guess who wins then? Yes, you do! In fact as the total Executive Pool ? grows ALL affiliates benefit!!!

So please do both - but do it intelligently. Let’s get SFI and TC a “good” name in our region.

What is “success” for a person is a very personal thing. I’m now in my 13 month of being an affiliate in SFI so it’s a good time to do an evaluation.

But have I become successful yet in SFI? Well, the number one goal I listed when I joined SFI was to “earn enough money to get out of debt”. Have I achieved that yet? No, I have not. Does that mean I have been unsuccessful? Well, yes it does for that particular goal, and in this particular time period.

But, SUCCESS IS A MOVING TARGET. It changes over time. And while I have yet to achieve my BIG GOAL I am making progress towards it and achieving many small goals along the way.

I would rank my success in the following ways: -

1. I am first successful in finding the SFI business opportunity in the first place, AND by deciding to join as an affiliate, AND for staying active each day for the past year. SFI is my future, without SFI I wouldn’t have this opportunity to be able to generate a second income that will one day provide me with a good livelihood.

2. Secondly I am successful because I had the gumption to realize the potential of SFI and the will power to stick with the program.

3. Thirdly I am successful because SFI encouraged me to complete a profile. It then rates my profile and gives it to my sponsor as an aid to him helping me. Not only that but SFI responds to my needs, as stated in my profile, by selecting ASK SC questions that are most suited to where I am in SFI and my experience. In other words SFI has a tailored training program for each of us.

4. Fourthly I am successful in SFI because the GOAL TAB on my home page lists 10 Key Performance Indicators (KPI) – in other words, 10 different goals that I set for myself each month. I even get VP awarded for setting these goals. Note that I am the one who is setting these goals. Then by my daily actions SFI records how I am progressing towards each of these goals. SFI gives me both a number of what I have accomplished, compares this with the goal I have set myself and then gives me the percentage of that goal that I have completed to date. The percentage is in a nice positive green colour. And when I have achieved my goal SFI tells me. In fact SFI congratulates me in BLUE. I can then set myself another goal for that particular KPI.

These are the little daily goals or “success” markers that help me along the way. I get a real kick out of seeing that, when I open my GOALS TAB each day, I may have achieved one or more of my goals. That is one measure of success. I then set a new goal and see if I can achieve that during the month too. This is the “MOVING TARGET” I mentioned above. These little goals are real motivators. They keep me keen.

5. Fifthly I am successful in SFI when I measure my progress towards the other longer-term goals I have set for myself. These also appear under my GOALS TAB. Earnings goals in six months, 12 months, 2 years and 5 years time.

I have to admit that I am nowhere near achieving those goals. There are reasons – mainly not enough time and not doing enough marketing or the right sort of marketing. But I have kept those goals there. I do plan to achieve them. In fact that will be a major focus in my second year.

But failure is a kind of success too because by failing I can assess where I went wrong and change my behavior so that I may achieve that goal in the future.

In fact having a goal is a major aid to becoming “successful” because it gives me something I can measure my progress towards. Thus I can stop being ineffectual and re-focus. Just the ability to do that is another measure of success.

And sometimes it is an external factor that has “interfered” with my progress towards my goals. For example I found that one consequence of the “security hacking scare” that attacked SFI some months ago was that a lot of affiliates in my team who had been active just “gave up”. That was very disappointing. Nothing I said to my team worked. That was a real set back.

6. Sixthly I am successful in SFI when having achieved one rank in SFI be it AFF, EA, BTL, or STL SFI immediately tells me how close I am to achieving the next rank. How stimulating is that? In other words SFI is saying to me – “You’ve done great so far but don’t stop there. You can go even higher.”

And conversely SFI warns me if I have not achieved EA again in any month because they do not want me to loose all the benefits and privileges that EA provides. To me this warning system is another measure of success.

7. Seventhly I am successful in SFI when my overall, country and class power ranks come down. Again I get a real kick out of seeing these improve under my SCOREBOARD tab. These give my relative standing in SFI compared with other active affiliates.

8. Eighthly, perhaps one of the greatest measures of my success in SFI is when I receive a new PSA or CSA. It’s even better if I can establish a correspondence with them; if they write to me and ask for my help. Most don’t and drop out quickly – and I feel so sad for them as they do not know what they are missing.

There are heaps of ways of measuring success – or as I prefer to call it – “my progress towards success”. Perhaps the best way to insure that you will be successful one day is to always have a positive, grateful and thankful attitude, With this attitude you will realize just what a gem of a program SFI is and you will stay with it and make the best of it. Success at every level will then come at some time in the future.

I think the question is wrongly worded. It should be “How can I give the best possible answer to an ASK SC question that I can?” Afterall, I can’t guarantee that everyone (or any one at all for that matter) will think my answer “helpful” or even read it. So, this is what I do: -

1. I think carefully about the question. Consider my experience in this area. Then write the best answer that I can, as clear as I can. And I try to give a complete answer.
2. I do my research. I check the facts (for instance, what does SFI actually say about this topic, and what is the web site reference where this information may be found). So I try to ensure that what I write is correct.
3. I don’t rush my answer. I always find that I spend much longer to prepare an answer than I thought it would take when I first started. Sometimes I come back to the answer at a later time and finish it. That is quite a good idea because, when I look at it afresh, I often pick up things I missed in my first draft.
4. And I think that we should be clear about why we are writing an answer to an ASK SC question in the first place. For me, it’s not about “showing off my knowledge” or winning a “top author” award, or winning some VP. I genuinely want to help my fellow affiliates. And I use it as a means of developing my understanding of SFI. (I have taught myself a lot by preparing an ASK SC answer. I clarifies my thinking and I have gained confidence in being able to talk to someone about SFI.) I treat the preparing of an answer as a TRAINING task. Hence I am building up a series of “information sheets” that I can use to help my own team. In fact I include an answer I write in my weekly TeamMails and also post it on my Leadership Page.
5. Having said the above, it will help your chance of gaining more “helpful” votes if you submit your answer as soon as possible after the ASK SC Question is first posted.

The other side of this coin is, how do I judge the 10 ASK SC answers that I read each day? The criteria is, “Did I find it helpful?” Yes or No? I am quite generous in what I find helpful. I choose “Yes” for the first answer I read on any question – just because it is the first answer and I think that affiliate’s quick response should be rewarded. I actually copy and paste the ASK SC answers that I like into a word document and save them to my SFI folder on my computer – for future reference. I do this because often I am in a hurry to read the 10 ASK SC questions each day. But by saving them I can go back to them at my leisure (afterall, they are written to help me in my SFI business). I have even included a good answer in my TeamMails. And I will give a “yes” tick for an answer, even if I don’t agree with what they have said, if I find it was well prepared and written. Afterall, we all have different views.

Conversely, once I have submitted my own answer I tend to judge the other answers a bit more harshly. They will get a “no” if the answer is too short, or not written very well, or if it is difficult to read, or if it contains incorrect information (and I check what they have written before I decide that is incorrect), or if they have just copied something from SFI, or if I think what they have written is just wasting my time. And I do want to see correct grammar and spelling too.

How have I gone with my ASK SC answers? This is the 10th ASK SC answer that I have submitted (two I prepared so late I never got to submit them). I’ve been very pleased with the ratings other affiliates have given me – thank you so much for that. I’ve been in the top 20 top author list three times and often my votes are less than 200 less than the top author for that question. I guess my efforts are appreciated. And I would recommend that an affiliate does try to prepare and submit an answer to an ASK SC question – I think you will learn a lot from the experience.

How do I reassure prospective TripleClicks customers that shopping is safe and secure and they will receive delivery of product?

There have been a lot of quite technical answers given for this question and that’s all good but does anyone today really stop to check all that stuff? We can give our prospective customers all this information if they ask for it. But if they didn’t ask I wouldn’t bother.

Haven’t we all done this when we have made a purchase somewhere on-line? We show our family and friends the item we have purchased, tell them the website from which we bought it, tell them how cheap it was, and how quickly the item was delivered to us.

I suggest you do this with your prospective SFI customers too - just tell about YOUR experience.

And if you haven’t bought anything from SFI yet may I ask WHY NOT? And may I also ask you, how can you promote or sell something to someone else from SFI if you haven’t tested the process yourself first?

One of the best sales lines you can say to a prospective customer is, “I’ve bought over 40 items from TripleClicks over the past 18 months and I have NEVBER HAD A PROBLEM. It’s a great way to shop - cheap, secure, great service, quick delivery - I’ve been really impressed!”

Then I go on to say, “Let me show you?

There have been a lot of quite technical answers given for this question and that’s all good but does anyone today really stop to check all that stuff? We can give our prospective customers all this information if they ask for it. But if they didn’t ask I wouldn’t bother.

I hope this answer will suffice. It has taken my over one week to prepare this it. The main reason was that because TCredits is just one component in the SFI/TripleClicks arsenal of marketing tools I initially started writing an overview of the whole SFI/TripleClicks system, naming and describing each feature, so that the reader would understand how it all fitted together.

That was very useful to me in clarifying my understanding of each of these but it made for an extremely long answer – obviously not what the question warranted.

Hence, my answer assumes you have a basic knowledge of such things as – SFI, TripleClicks.com, MRP. VP, CV, AFF, PRM, TC Member etc.

How can I get my spouse involved in my SFI business?

I am finding this a hard thing to do. I have given her a tour of the website and explained what I am doing and the potential. But her first question is, how much money can you make from SFI? And her second question is, where is the money? And her third is, when will you receive enough money to live on?

Actually, these three questions are very common among my “warm market”. Most people just laugh and are not interested. So, how do I plan to change their attitudes?

This is my plan: - I know SFI is a real business and that I will eventually make very good money from it. So I am going to keep working my SFI business. I am not going to listen to any scoffers. I will not let anyone put me off.

My plan is in four stages: -

1. Invest a small amount in SFI each month, just whatever I can afford. And use that money as best I can to grow my SFI business.

2. Reach the point where my commissions more than cover my investment. I have been in SFI for over two years and I have received a commission each month. Admittedly for some months the commission has been extremely small – but it was still a commission.

Of course for my SFI business to become self-sustaining the amount that I will invest in it is a “moving target” because I am ambitious and I want to do more and more in SFI each month. I have already had at least three months where my commissions (and other rewards – there are many in SFI) more than covered my investment.

And eventually my regular monthly commissions will far exceed what I need to reinvest in SFI to keep my business growing.

3. After this the growth of my SFI business will start to provide an income to my family and to contribute to improving our lifestyle. Eventually this will be greater than any paid job I may have had in the past.

4. Finally SFI will provide me with a disposable income that will mean I will be able to give my wife, and other family members, gifts. By this time she (they) will have changed her (their) minds about SFI. And, hopefully, they will be willing to work with me in my SFI business. And I will welcome their input - just whatever they wish to do.

And there is also included in the above as best I can my desire to transfer buy as much as possible – using my commissions and my MRP to change my purchasing habits to TripleClicks. I am already doing this. This is something I really want to grow as fast as I can.

My main problem is that I don’t have a job and so I have a very limited amount that I can invest in SFI each month. But I do whatever I can, I really push hard because I can see the potential.

The second thing I do is spend a lot of time working with my team, trying to encourage them and motivate them and answering their questions as best I can. Unfortunately it is not only my spouse and family that are skeptical about SFI, almost my whole team doesn’t want to work either.

Still there are people out there who will understand the potential of SFI. I intend to find them and grow a wildly successful SFI business together. And I have the rest of my life to do it. How cool is that?
