What was it that made you realize that SHI is the real deal?

Let’s be TOTALLY CLEAR about this, I KNOW SFI is the “REAL DEAL” 1000%!!!!

Let me go back to when I joined SFI on August 29, 2013 to see what was the process I went through before I realized and accepted this.

I see that I didn’t really get active in SFI until September 1, three days after I joined. Yes, it took me about three days to dispel the skepticism I had about internet businesses in general (having been stung before) and SFI in particular and to realize that SFI was a genuine and ethical business.

In those first three days I did a lot of reading. I inspected the SFI websites. I digested my Sponsor and Co-Sponsor’s welcome messages. I read the Launchpad lessons, particularly about the history of SFI and the income potential that it offered.

And I could see how successful my Sponsor, Co-sponsor and up-line in SFI was in the Ranking Leadership Boards.

I was impressed with the responsiveness of SFI – the websites are “live” and changes were updated very quickly to reflect what I had done.

The websites are HUGE! That really impressed me – all the free information and training that is available.

I also got quick responses from my Sponsor and from SFI Support to my questions.

I really liked the “Green Line” – that became my major focus in the first month.

And I liked that when I did something it was reflected in my rankings and these got better quite quickly.

I found that I could rely on SFI. They did what they said they would do and they did it efficiently.

AND the availability of President Gery Carson was amazing. It just blew me away.

And over time all these things and more just reinforced my trust, conviction and belief in SFI.

How can I earn 1000 AVP for the status of BTL if I do not have any team members yet?

Jasna, this question is very topical at this time because you only have this month, to December 31 2015, to achieve BTL in this way. From January 2016 you will need at least one EA2 to become BTL – but the VP, both SVP and AVP requirements don’t change.

Unlike most SFI Affiliates I believe we should strive for the highest ranking we can obtain each month in SFI regardless of whether we have an active team or not. I believe we should always be using the SFI system to our best advantage. So I have given a lot of thought to this question and I have tried to teach my (predominantly inactive) team how this may be done.

It’s obvious from the wording of your question that you don’t have any problem achieving 2,000 SVP each month, because that is the first thing that we should do – obtain the maximum SVP available for the rank which we wish to achieve. And for BTL that is 2,000 SVP. That means you only have to find 1,000 AVP to become BTL.

I shall assume that you use a SO to help you obtain your 2,000 SVP each month. And the SO will give you 100 AVP too.

I shall also assume that you are fully conversant with the FREE AVP you can earn just by doing the Daily, Weekly and Monthly ACTIONS and that you are doing ALL of these EACH day. These will give you about 472 AVP each month (30 x 12 + 23 x 4 + 20 x 1).

Hence your question is asking how can you earn the shortfall of 428 AVP (1,000 – 100 – 472).

There are many ways to do this. Let me just tell you what I do. I bid on Pricebender Auctions and play Eager Zebra games. We can earn up to 600 PB bids per month at a cost of one TCredit per bid and earn I AVP for each; and we can play up to 250 EZ games per month, also at a cost of one TCredit per game and earn 1 AVP for each.

I like playing Card King because it gives me the change to win CSAs, MRPs, TCredits and AVPs and I ALWAYS win some of these each month. I only play the one TCredit CK games though – there are four of these available each day.

And I make up the rest of the AVP I need by bidding on PB auctions. I try to win one but I also choose the Double MRP auctions if I can.

So you need 428 TCredits to do these two things OR less if you have some WINNINGS – for instance 10 TCredits for being EA, 5 AVP from the “Spin & Win” contest in the SFI Newsletters, and 2 TCredits per day in T-Time. This things and the possibility of winning something in the Daily Grand and Daily Crown probably mean that you only need 400 TCredits.

This will cost you $116.00 (4 x $29 for 4 packs of 100 TCredits) And you will also win between 3 and 4 PSAs in “Bid & Build.”

If I only have one hour a day to spend on SFI, what should I spend this limited time doing?

We all face this dilemma sometimes don’t we? When I find myself in this situation what I do is just maintain my SFI business as best I can.

I put priority into maintaining my rank and entitlements. So this means I first check ALL the daily action tabs. I usually do the ASK SC and Forum sections first, and I try to do these on a computer because it is easier to reply on a computer than by using a smartphone. And I do these first because they take longer to do and I don’t want to run out of time and not do them. In this way I ensure I earn the 14 AVP available to me each day.

Actually I try to earn 20 AVP each day to earn a bonus entry in the Daily Grand draw so I make up the extra VP playing EZ games – usually the quick ones like Pick the Price, Time Machine, and Card King (on all of these you can win worthwhile prizes), and by bidding on the Pricebender Auctions.

Then you really need to try and read all the news items that SFI send us, so that you keep up to date with developments and don’t miss anything important. So this would be my second priority.

Then you should answer your team’s questions as best you can and as soon as you can. It may be hard to adequately do this in only one hour per day though.

And again doing STREAM posts and GROUP mailings will also be very hard to accomplish within the one hour daily limit too. Perhaps you could do these by forwarding to your team information and tips that you have learnt from your reading of SFI News and Forum questions.

And if you are able to invest some money in your SFI business I would suggest that you set up a SO. Instead of trying to recruit your own PSAs and TC members, purchase them from an ECA or by using SFIs S-Builder and PSAs to Go packages. For instance you could set up a SO for 1,500 SVP, so you automatically retain your EA rank. Better yet, if you can afford it, aim for STL and set up a SO for at least 2,500 SVP. For instance you could do this with 2 packs of 125 TCredits.

Of course, one hour a day is not enough time in which to build a SFI business – so when I am caught in this situation I try to find ways to give myself more time. Such things as getting up earlier, staying up later, not watching so much TV, using my smartphone to do SFI went travelling. And I also try to work smarter in other areas of my life so that I can devote more time to SFI.

So, finally, I would encourage you to reassess your priorities so that you may spend more time on SFI. It will be worth it in the long run.

SFI has great ways to communicate with your team, but am I missing out by not using outside resources too like email, Facebook Messenger, WhatsAPP, etc?

May I suggest that we shouldn’t get caught up in the technology BUT remember that the principle task we wish to achieve is to COMMUNICATE effectively with a team member. It’s not important what technology we use. What IS important is that what WORKS best for each team member.

A communication method is not going to work unless both your team member and yourself are comfortable using it. So we need to find the best ways to communicate with a team member.

SFI’s methods are great but they do not work unless the team member logs in. When we receive a new team member the only outside communication address we are given is their email address. So that is the first “outside” address I use to try and communicate with them.

It also suits me to use email. It is my preferred method because I use it all the time. I can get messages either on my computer or smartphone. It is written so I can go back and re-read it later. Email also allows me to send attachments and website links etc too.

In summary find what method works for that person and use that method. I would suggest also that we try and keep it as simple as possible.

How do I take advantage of every tool in the SFI system to maximize my success here?

SFI provided HEAPS of tools. The website is HUGE. So we are very lucky that we have this TREASURE CHEST to dive into and learn to use for our benefit – AND IT’S ALL FREE!!! Thank you SFI.

So, firstly we must realize and appreciate just how valuable these assets are. I am just so thankful that I have found SFI. This fuels my enthusiasm to get working in SFI everyday AND to tell my team, to inspire and encourage them also. I use the STREAM posts and GROUP mail to do this to everyone in my team and E-cards and personal emails for individuals. So, firstly we grow our business from the high plateau of these riches.

Has anyone used every tool in SFI? I know I haven’t and I am still learning to use the tools I do currently use AS BEST I CAN. But I find it’s best to just dive in and start using a tool because I “learn as I do” and “with practice comes perfection”. And as I go I learn how to adapt each tool for a specific circumstance.

SFI is evolving so fast that we need to stay on top of things. So it is a priority that we read everything that SFI sends us each day as soon as we can – in our emails, on our ALERTS page, SFI Corporate posts under the STREAM posts tab, messages in our Message Manager. Also read all of Gery’s replies to Forum questions - these are very informative and I find they help me better understand the topic being discussed. So these are probably the FIRST tools to use. And I do this because I don’t want to miss out on anything and "KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!’

SFI has a system. This is the second tool we must master. So I spend a lot of time learning and understanding the SFI system; how it works and how to use it. This is a great confidence booster to me because the SFI system is VERY GOOD and it WORKS. It is robust and secure. It has integrity. SFI does what they say they will do. I can rely on it. And they do it efficiently. I just LOVE it. And it inspires me to set the same standards myself and to apply these same principles to my SFI business, in how I treat my team and prospective customers.

Part of the SFI system is that we must “WORK DAILY”. This is the only way in which we can grow a successful SFI business. Hence SFI both encourages us and rewards us to do so – by giving us over 30% of our VP ranking requirements towards EA each month just for doing a minimum amount of work in our SFI business each day. This is a great tool to master.

Then SFI has also given us our own websites – Our TConnect page, our ECA TConnect page, our Leadership Pages, and our gateway pages. These too are all FREE. We should try to use these as best we can. I think these should be developed before we get our own website and blogs. These should be the HUB of our SFI business. That is what they are for. We should be directing traffic to them and using them as marketing tools.

These are the big things on which our SFI business hinges. Other tools will help make these more effective – such things as a great photo, an avatar, a string of badges, a great welcome letter. SFI also gives us samples of how something may be done – these are great tools to use and adapt as we think appropriate.

I’ve listed the tools that SFI gives us that form the platform on which we can build our SFI business but the SFI and TripleClicks websites are also full of tools that are for specific purposes – that we can use in the platform that we build; such things as the marketing tools and banners. We are only limited in their use by our own imaginations, creativity, marketing and management skills, and resources.

AND to back all this up SFI has set up a great administration and support center for us. We have our own upline. We have a support centre that will answer any questions that we have 24/7. And we have a processing centre that handles our orders, payments, shipments, commissions etc. Each of us has access to all these levels of support. What a great tool? We are never alone. We should feel comfortable in using these. SFI treats us with respect and always does its best for us.

And I think it is the combination of all these tools working together that will make our SFI business as success. This is truly a worthy business in which to invest our time and abilities.

What are the top selling points of SFI that should be highlighted to any potential prospect?

A lot of the answers so far have just listed everything that SFI does but I think that is too much detail to present to a potential prospect.

Instead I have tried to limit my answer to just the main points – the ones that matter to me the most. It is still an impressive list. However each time I speak to a potential prospect I choose just two or three of these points to focus on.

Here it is, the top selling points of SFI I suggest are the following: -

1. SFI is a real business.
2. When we become an affiliate of SFI we become a businessperson. We run our own business. We decide what we do. We are self-employed.
3. We sell real products to a worldwide market for which we receive commissions that are paid monthly.
4. SFI’s superstore TripleClicks contains thousands of products and services (over 80,000 at the moment) and we are able to sell any or all of thse.
5. SFI provides market research and is always developing new strategies, products and business opportunities.
6. SFI provides us with free web pages, gateways and marketing tools.

How can I convince people who do not speak English to join SFI and work with me?

I see you are Serbian and that you list your primary language as “other”. Perhaps you already know more ways than I to do this. But I have spent over 30 years in Papua New Guinea so I have some experience in communicating with people who do not speak English or whose primary language is not English.

Whatever your native language is you can obviously speak/write that with any other people who also speak the same language. So I presume you are talking about how do you communicate with people who speak a native language that you don’t speak and who also do not speak English?

I think there are two things you can say to them.

1. English IS the most widely used language in the world for business purposes. In my experience most people do at least want to learn English because they see the advantages that will give them.

So the first thing you can “sell them on” is that if they were to join SFI they would have an opportunity to learn to speak English and to improve their English. While at the same time building a worldwide residual income business.

And that SFI has the tools to translate English into their native language.

2. The second thing is even more convincing I think. You can tell them about your team (presumably you are wanting them to sign up under you) that is made up of people from all over the world. For instance my team comprises affiliates from over 40 different countries.

And tell them that you can help them in two ways: -

You can reassign them under an affiliate in your team who does speak their native language.

And they can make a2a Friends with people who do speak their native language.

These things should be enough to convince them that SFI is for EVERYONE and that they can do very well in SFI.

How can I set up an online seminar to train my affiliates … and what are some tips for successful seminars?

This is something I wish to develop during 2016, so I have been giving this question some thought. This is what I plan to do: -

1. I plan to build up to setting up an online seminar – in other words, do it in stages.

2. Stage one: Is to prepare materials for a seminar. I am putting together some video clips about different aspects of SFI. When these are ready they will be available to my team through my website.

The videos will be of me talking to them directly and will include screen shots of me working in SFI – so they will see exactly what they should be doing – and they can just copy me.

They can get back to me with any questions and I will work with them through these videos at their pace.

It’s a “one-on-one” training situation.

And, honesty, this is what I would prefer to do.

3. Stage two: The online seminar itself. This is where many people can view the content at the same time, ask questions and have their questions answered.

Of course, you can only deal with one person and one question at a time, so the others in that seminar will be waiting their turn. That’s a bit of a drawback to using an online seminar.

Perhaps the easiest way to do this is to use SKYPE, provided everyone has access to it.

The most important thing is that the online seminar is held at a time that is suitable for your affiliates. That might take some “twigging” to get right. Perhaps the best way forward would be to ask them what times would suit them and then run the online seminars at those times.

I don’t think you should worry too much about things. You can over-plan these things. I suggest that you get started in a small way. Each of us will have a different experience with online seminars – so learn from what you find out as you go along.

And remember, it’s not running a fabulous online seminar that is important – what’s important is teaching your team to be successful in their SFI businesses.

An online seminar may be a great benefit to the success of your team, but it is not the only way and it may not be the best way for some of your team members either.

Don’t get “tied up’ with the technology. Keep it simple. Keep focused on your aim – teaching your team to be successful SFI business people.

What are some ideas for marketing SFI at a job fair or free-standing kiosk in a business area?

I have considerable experience in running a sales booth at a Trade Fair. But those have been for physical products from my own business (for instance a clothing manufacturing business). It’s a lot of work. You need to set yourself up properly with an attractive “shop front”, display area and have stock and sales materials readily available.

These booths also are quite expensive. You have to pay a fee which is based on the size of the booth, it’s location within the job fair building, and the type of facilities you need (power, lighting, internet connection, mobile and/or landline telephone connection, EFTPOS/Credit card payment system etc).

SFI is an internet business. To successfully market SFI I believe it is essential that you have broadband access to the internet and a computer with a large display screen. In my case, I would use my 27 inch Apple Mac desktop computer.

You would then be able to run a series of seminars to small groups of people throughout the day. I would suggest no more than five people at a time. You will need to take bookings.

And it would be even better if you could offer “one on one” seminars. In that way you could really focus on the needs/desires/interests of just one person and hence you would have more chance “wetting their appetite” for SFI.

Of course I would also show them that SFI can be conducted on a smartphone or tablet. But I do not suggest that you use your smartphone as your principal marketing device. No, but I would show them how all the functionality of the SFI and TripleClicks websites are available to you on a smartphone – so that you can “do business on the run”.

And I would show them how to access SFI on their laptop, tablet, and/or smartphone.

I think the best way to go is with a practical demonstration and to talk to them about your own experience with SFI. What you love about it and how you make it work for you. And I would encourage you to book a follow up meeting with them at their place as soon as possible afterwards.

I recommend doing this, if your budget allows you to. You will find it great fun and exhilarating. And you will find it a great learning experience.

So "go for it" if you can!

My team has a negative attitude about SFI. How can I change it to a positive one?

What I do is: -

1. I try to be as positive as possible in all my communications with my team – in TeamMails, Stream Posts, personal E-Cards, Welcome letters, personal emails, SFI messaging and “Chat” etc, and when answering their questions.

I have over 800 in my team but I can count on my two hands those who respond. So, who knows if what I do is effective.

2. I reply as soon as possible and as fully as I can do any questions I am asked. I prefer email for this. And I write a separate email for each topic. I try to be as clear and simple as possible.

If I am asked a question it is usually just a short email of a few lines. Whereas my response is quite a bit longer – about half a page or more, and sometimes I don’t get a response back to that. And they may not do anything that I suggest either.

3. Recently I have had a few emails from a team member apologizing for not having done anything in SFI for a while. It’s as though I am their employee or something. I always write back telling them that there is nothing to apologize about – it is their business and in life things happen. Just do SFI when and how you are able to.

4. I put a lot of personal stuff in my content too. I write of my own experiences in SFI and also how I overcome the obstacles in my life that try and stop me from doing SFI. I try and show them that I am no different than they are. There is nothing special about me and they can do what I do.

5. I regularly tell them what I have won in SFI, as I did in a Stream Post I sent out today. And I encourage them to “get involved”, that they could be winning these things too. I hope that putting this information constantly before them will eventually get them to respond.

6. I keep up to date with what is happening in SFI, in the news and at the Forum. I am active in the Forum where my posts are always pretty positive. I praise Gery and the team and SFI constantly for what they are doing for us.

7. I have an impressive list of badges on display for my team to view if they ever go to my leadership page or view my profile or perhaps my JMT gateway.

8. I must be doing something right: - I have a lot of likes on the Forum and my movers rate me 100% “5 stars”. And they DO appreciate what I do for them.

At the end of the day it’s how our workers respond that matters. I can’t do anything with someone who doesn’t want to work. I have to wait until they are ready. So, I never give up on them, but I don’t worry about them either.

The final thing I don’t do is offer rewards to get them started. SFI has enough rewards for those who wish to begin with SFI and I fully support all those initiatives. But I don’t offer anything extra.

But, on the other hand, I do reward my workers for their constant efforts.

I also keep thinking of other ways to inspire my team. One way I am trying is by sending out video clips on Youtube. I haven’t had much of a response yet though.

Basically I hope that my positive attitude will “rub off” on them overtime.
