Answering the questions takes a bit of common sense and research.
I see answers where the person didn't understand the question so they answered some other question which wasn't even close.
I see people who have no idea tell you that they have no idea and then fill in the rest of the answer anyhow. Know what you are talking about and own your answer.
I see too many try to correct the person asking in what they think the question should be. That's just rude and not right.
I see people who rush their every answer ignoring spell check and not grabbing all the facts before they post. These answers are seldom longer than 3-4 lines and offer little value.
Plagiarism is also a major problem. Every week there will be 15 people who just copy related text from the pages of SFI or some famous persons similar post and call it their own. This is moronic, lazy, and illegal and SFI warns as your posting in bright red letters not to plagiarize.
Forgetting and signing your name or putting your contact details in the post. I have reported and down thumbed a bunch of otherwise brilliant post because they didn't follow the posting rules.
Stop thinking you have to answer every question. Answer the ones that you know well and you'll get far better response than answering all of them half way. Honestly there have been time I just didn't submit an answer because I felt I could add nothing new to what was already said.
Short paragraphs, numbering talking points and summarizing your post are also great tips.
Always exude confidence in your answer as people have a hard time supporting the person who is saying it might be and an easy time following the person who says it is.
Be natural, and learn how and when to be silent, when to be aggressive, and when to spend 15 minutes doing research instead of 3 minutes being wrong.
