There are literally dozens of avenues for 2 way communications. Here is my TOP 10
1. Phone
2. SFI's IM Chat
3. SFI Team Mail
4. Email
5. Google chat
6. Skype
7. Aim
8. SFI Stream
9. Facebook Chat/Messaging
10.SFI Forum
Some of the above are instant and others are still direct but not necessarily instant... but are still "2 Way Communications".
Every time you login go to your Movers page and Genealogy to see whose online and available for IM-Instant Messaging. You'll see a yellow flag if they are on site.

You are a sponsor who has lost touch with your downline. How do you reconnect?

First off a sponsor should never lose touch with their PSA's/CSA's. We get 30 VP for sending out weekly Team Mailings. So there is simply no excuse other than illness. Lets say this happens. Do the following:
1. Send out a PSA/CSA Team mail offering help and support and include your phone number.
2. If you have resources, offer an incentive for them to become active.
3. If available, start a chat and learn if they need anything to become motivated.
The bottom line is you must make every effort to start a dialogue to open up communications at what ever level they are comfortable with....

How do you keep affiliates who are yet to earn anything motivated when family and friends are consistently telling them they are wasting their time?

First off tell them of your own earning experience and if they ask.. email them a snapshot of your last commission statement. If you have gmail or other similar programs, you can simply copy and paste the statement onto the compose box.
Secondly send them to the testimonial page here: https://www.sfimg.com/saying.html
Finally, tell them you will provide the blueprint you have used and give them all the help/support they need.
I have affiliates who are inactive. Is it a good idea or bad idea to reassign them to my active affiliates?

Yes and make sure you tell the assignee they will need to be proactive in getting them to work the program. Be honest and tell him/her they have been inactive but it could be you've used the wrong approach. Advise them to read and use the suggestions SFI provides for effective Follow-up.

I've found the Leadership page contests are best for getting inactive affiliates working and those who are actively working, motivated to grow their income even more. That being said, it's also good to use your genealogy tools to offer incentives for EA1's to become EA2.... and so forth. You can offer VP, PSA's and gift certificates which most like.
How would you motivate someone who is interested in SFI but lacks computer knowledge?

Most everyone has a friend or family member whose not only internet savvy... but also has basic computer knowledge. So I would first advise them to seek out that source after asking if there was something specific I could help with. If neither of those helped, I would refer them to local community college or adult education program. Most libraries also have employees available to help. I would lastly refer them to the following which is an excellent resource:

First off do the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks on your "TO DO" list. Then qualify for and enter Daily Grand, set up a standing order of 1500+ VP, and most importantly... start a marketing campaign to enroll "movers" so you will get 100-300 VP for each one who becomes actively working the program.
The following also provides some very good ways to advertise, market, and promote the SFI/TripleClicks internet income opportunity. Make sure you read thoroughly and follow the directions:

Where can SFI affiliates find good items to sell in their TripleClicks ECA store?

Amazon, Ebay, Yard Sales, and Craigs List are places for good merchandise deals but you must do your homework at Ebay and Amazon to make sure the shipping cost isn't over priced. Many sfi affilates win items cheaply at Pricebenders and sell them for a profit at their ECA/TripleClicks sites. Also do a google search for wholesale merchandise for new, rebuilt, restored, and returned items.

Making initial contact within 12-24 hrs and following up with help and support as needed. Checking the genealogy on an ongoing basis to see whose active and who isn't... and recognizing those who are working the program with emails and stream posts. Always respond to contacts and chat notices. Make certain they're aware of all details of E365, Wave3, ECA, Pricebenders, and Daily Grand.
