Every time I am presented with a question in TripleClicks, I find it very easy to answer it because I am basing the answer on my personal experience as an ECA. For an enterpreneur who understands the potential of working in his own territory, this is not difficult to interpret or explain to a prospective ECA.

1. I start by advising the ECA how many members are on TripleClicks within my region and globally. This creates opportunities to market products both locally and internationally. Knowing how many affiliates work SFI (locally) helps provide a figure that I can quote to the ECA. That number will definitely be higher than what the prospect will find as walk-in customers.

2. There are advantages in local sales because shipment is kept to the minimum and you are able to provide a definite figure of shipment so there is no uncertainty of how the ECA will ship products. The buyer can choose the means that is most convenient. The cost of the product therefore is not escalated compared to overseas sales.

3. Payment is guaranteed by TripleClicks every Thursday. This enhances the reputation of TripleClicks thus making it easier for the ECA to believe in a site which may not be very popular locally. I would be the example by which I can persuade the ECA to register and start trading on TripleClicks.

These are the main factors to consider highlighting to the prospective ECA because they just need someone who has already conducted business online to reassure them that it is a genuine concern.

In my experience with marketing and selling products both expensive and services that give unmatched quality, the word "cheap" is never on my mind. I say this because whatever it is you are selling on TripleClicks, it has to be of good or excellent quality. This guarantees repeat sales.

You can qualify cheap by the difference in price of your best product from that one which is affordable by everyone but there should be no compromise on quality especially because you are selling online and customers cannot physically inspect the product before delivery.

The most important viewpoint I have is that do not give your customers a chance to complain because that does not augur well with your business or the referrals you will
miss out on if there is a problem with the product whether it is cheap or expensive.

Customers also appreciate good value for money so having said everything above, keep your prices reasonably well priced.

I believe the secret to not sounding authoritative is two-fold. One will be in the tone of your voice (your communications) and the second would be to build a rapport gradually.

Do not keep repeating yourself over one issue. For example, we know that the Standing Order (SO) that your down line places gives you a commission of $7.95 and if you insist that the affiliate places a SO, it will create a forceful message. Let them decide what is best for them.

Building a relationship takes time and effort and you need to convey to your team members that you are there as support for them if they need any help. Once you develop trust with your members, it is easy to move forward together without them feeling overwhelmed.

Vary your mode of communications, one week it may be an e-card and on other day it will be a skype call. This enhances your relationship and allows you to understand your members better.

College students are almost very good with the various devices that come up in the market and their knowledge is almost certainly updated as they keep up with the latest technology. They are young and also flexible in their approach to new ideas and this makes talking to them about any concept easy. The fact that some of them may be looking for part time earning opportunities while they pursue their studies is an incentive to join SFI.

- I would approach the head of the college and organize a presentation with the business class of students.

- most college students have meeting points like every Fridays when they get together for a fun party, with a little research it would not be difficult to find out the popular spots where they gather - distribute your flyers at such strategic locations.

- talk to your neighbors and find out which college their child attends - this is another way to obtain details about their friends.

- movies are a popular weekend event for college students; another point of marketing here;

If you get one college student to join using your presentation, you will not have to do much work as they will bring in their friends and the network will start building.

This is what I say immediately without any hesitation: "It is my online business" and you will get bombarded with a lot of questions after that including what sort of business is it, what do you have to do, how do you earn etc etc.

I try to keep my explanations to the point and very simple so that a lay person can understand the concept easily without getting confused or bored! These are some of the points I will highlight

1. It is a team building business based on a points system (sales or action points)

2. To start earning, you must make at least 1500 points every month to qualify for commissions.
with an active team, your commissions will be higher

3. I also have an online store on TripleClicks - I am an E Commerce Associate (ECA)

4. TripleClicks is an associate of SFI and they work together

5. There are various income streams within SFI, the main ones being
- earn commissions through building an active team (points system)
- earn commissions when I sell products as an ECA or refer others who purchase

6. To join anyone in my team is free and depending on how active my team is, my team generates income for me in years to come. This is residual income

7. It is a genuine business model that has been part of the online industry for over 17 years and its growth is consistent.

I like to bring to the fore experiences that I have gone through because that allows for a realistic and practical approach to such a scenario. I am assuming that you are referring to Affiliates who opt out and who have been inactive for more than 6 months.

1.. The Affiliate who has already opted out of SFI cannot join until after the 6 month period of sitting out of the business, therefore you have 6 months to plan how will will get them back.

2.. You will have known why the Affiliate left SFI and this gives you an edge when you plan your strategy. My Team Leader who opted out because of the inconveniences of not being able to log in easily. This is no longer a problem and I will use this to emphasize the professional and efficient aspect of SFI.

3.. In the 6 months of staying away or any shorter period, you will also have to your advantage all the positive changes that have taken place in SFI and this should be one of your focus-to elaborate on the positives.

4.. Different individuals will have different reasons for leaving (I would not want to call abandonment) and once you know these reasons, it is easy to capitalise on them...

5.. Focus on your own individual progress and it helps tremendously to share your milestones while the Affiliate was out of the business.

6.. Another important factor is to keep in mind that when you deal with Affiliates, it get to know their likes and dislikes so interact with them on a personal level, create a rapport. This helps to motivate the Affiliate and get them to see that SFI also provides opportunities that match the Affiliate's likes-for example some may like to play games and the addition of new games to SFI's portfolio would be an incentive for them to join again.

To summarise, your own achievements highlighted will be useful in getting your inactive Affiliates back into the business, this can be anything from climbing up in the rank, building your team of successful Affiliates, increasing your commissions, having fun while you work and most of all, creating an opportunity for others to enhance your business!

Demographic marketing deals with segmenting the population into various sections like age, income, lifestyle, gender etc. This is very useful especially when you wish to target a particular segment for a specific product. In case of SFI, we have two segments of the population and my energy would most likely be on the homemakers.

These are my reasons for choosing Homemakers. I am sure there are exceptions and unless we have statistics to prove otherwise, it would be prudent to target a Homemaker first.

1.. Youth
This is a much younger population of individuals who are less likely to be rigid in accepting a new idea in the form of owning an online business. Retired people are very careful and skeptical when it comes to investing their time on a money earning opportunity and may not be willing to take the risks that Homemakers would take.

2.. Retired
This in itself conjures up the notion that the person has worked hard through this/her life and now going back to work schedules, goals or meetings might prove to be stressful. With retirement comes in the natural aging process which we cannot ignore and this could prove to be a constraint. Therefore a Homemaker would fit into the SFI role better.

3.. Flexibility
Working from home presents a great opportunity to not only handle the day to day chores of a household but keeping you flexible enough to handle a business as well. It also provides unlimited resources at your disposal to meet at home to discuss the business without having to neglect or sideline other priorities. For young mothers, it us ideal to have time for kids and support both the home and kids effectively.

4.. Network
The age group of homemakers is undoubtedly an advantage over retired persons - there is a higher percentage of friends to talk to keeping in mind that you are able to utilize the network of friends from both the partners. Retired persons may not have that advantage if one partner has passed on. The motivation to continue to live may be an issue to working an online business may be completely irrelevant.

5.. Finances
In retirement, circumstances may not allow the individual to have sufficient financial freedom to invest in SFI as their priorities would likely shift towards making sure that there are available funds for day to day expenses, medical contingencies and other incidental expenses related to getting retired and being out of a full time job.

Having said that, being able to recruit a retired affiliate from one country may differ significantly from another country and this generalization may not necessarily apply all the time.

This is very easy to answer. I would have the following comments to help the PSA understand that filling out forms and typing would, after a while become monotonous and I have an opportunity that is a lot more exciting. An opportunity that will:-

- help them learn, earn online and build an income that is residual in years to come
- provide all the training materials online to help them start
- not single out income from one area of the business; there are several income streams to rely on
- dedicate resources from 17 years of online experience into making you earn online
- not tie you a fixed schedule and you can go on vacation and still expect to earn
- combine the resources of your team to build your income onlinel
- capitalize on your strengths and assist you to overcome your weakness in a friendly environment
- keep you mentally energized never to get bored of having to fill out forms and type for others
- define your goals and build your business, you are not working for others

The idea is to highlight the benefits of working with SFI rather than downgrade his intentions. This will bring to the fore the difference(s) and advantages of working for SFI.

It's not always easy to attract people to a new concept or bring them to change and accept a behavioral shift of their consumer habits. These are some of the challenges you will get when introducing SFI to prospects.

Business exhibitions/fairs where you have rented space/a stall would be a good place to start your campaign to recruit face to face affiliates. The advantage of this is that you have a steady flow of people walking in to target.

There are a few advantages in this set up because the fair could be over 1/2 days or the weekend and you have the time to explain the SFI concept to the prospects. This means that you would have to be well prepared with all your marketing aids and have a professional set up to attract and create interest in your stall.

Colleges and canteens or cafes are another avenue where you can pick up important leads but it will depend on how you approach this.

For colleges, it is ideal because you would already announce this exercise on their notice board and this reaches a greater audience. You should be prepared to have a low turnout as students have a variety of commitments so it would not be possible to get a 100% attendance unless you have a specific incentive for them to be present.

Cafes and social places are a great face to face contact but people may feel intrusive if your approach is forceful so be careful how you set up your space. As customers wait to be served you could sign up people easily.

Planning remains a crucial factor in whatever mode you choose. Ideally you come across people face to face all the time but what works for you should be adopted. Take into account, culture barriers, personal space and be ready to accept rejections in such an environment.
