This is a good question and it is one that many "newbies" will be leaping to read the
answers to.

Like most questions the answer depends on the degree of experience new affiliates
have in Internet Marketing or any marketing, for that matter.

If you are completely new to Internet Marketing I suggest promoting to a good friend and family, first.
Then, more friends and acquaintances.
This, combined with what you are learning will help

Personally, I love Free Classified Advertising. It is a forum where
I can develop my ads and test them before moving on to paid advertising.
I use free advertising as proving ground to test Keywords, subject lines,
ad script (description) and photos.
It does take a while to develop a good list to work with.
SFI provides a starter list for you.

Once you have established your proven advertising portfolio,
paid advertising provides a much stronger activity

The time one needs to devote to SFI depends on their own level of experience and their desire to succeed.
If you are new to Internet Marketing it is obvious it will take more time to learn.
However, each of us must determine for ourselves how much time we are willing to devote to become a success.

Personally, I suggest learning SFI at your own pace to absorb the material and logistics.
Next, I would develop a daily schedule.
Follow that schedule religiously, adjust

Initiating communication is the best way to greet new affiliates.

1. Catch them on Chat, if possible, break the ice, and introduce yourself.
2. Immediately, send welcome email, with start out tips.
3. Follow each new affiliates activity, send tips and thoughts via Team Message or Email Message.
4. Great tips and hints will leave a strong impression on your efforts to support and lead your new team members.
5. Maintaining friendly and supportive communication will be

How would it benefit me to transfer TCredits to my PSAs or CSAs?

Building a strong team is more than just being a good leader.
Leading by example includes letting your teammates know you
are generous with more than your knowledge.

New affiliates find TCredits hard to come by.
They are dependent on winning TCredits in contest provided by the 365 program
or the Daily Grand.
Otherwise, they are not easy to come by without achieving status, buying them outright through the TripleClicks Store or joining WAVE 3.
For these

I tell them that the great benefit of Internet Marketing is you do not need to know a lot of people.
The entire internet world is your market, if you choose it to be.
SFI provides all the tools, training and materials needed to conduct their own business.
And with the help of their Sponsors, Co-Sponsors, the SFI Forum, Affiliate 2 Affiliate Friends and Support Division they will find all that they need at their disposal.
It doesn't get any better and it is free.

Team motivation requires constant communication and reward through various venues.

Communication with:
1. Team Email, from your Movers tab (TM)
2. Genealogy page (SFI Team Mail)
3. Chat (In house chat when your affiliates are online)
4. Skype or Facebook chat to address special concerns.

I motivate my team with the following methods and rewards:
1. Monthly revolving contests for 1st tip achievements (EA2 and up)
2. Monthly contest for Top 300 achievers
3.

There have been a lot answers here.
But, the bottom line is how much you can afford to invest in advertising.

Both options are only going to be as good as your ability to write successful ads.
Use the training provided by SFI. Do your own "How To" search.
Learn all the promotional tactics and ad writing tips you can. I would then, try them out in Free Classifieds to develop winning ads.

Next, as your budget allows begin using the proven ads in paid

The answer to this question depends entirely on your approach to your business.

If you are new to Internet Marketing it will take some time to learn.
During this learning period it may be to your advantage to find ways to
purchase and arrange sign ups through various sources.
There are Co-ops, SFIs S-Builder Co-op, PPC advertising and so on.

However, to become a skilled and strong Sponsor you must learn the business.
Few to none are able to develop a Team
