Network marketing businesses are geared differently. It just depends on how you want to approach it. Some businesses only allow you to bring in quality people by what is known as qualifying them. You can do this with SFI but it requires more time and energy. You would basically go out and find people to talk to, get to know them and become friends. Do not come across as you are trying to get them into something because many times you'll only manage to run them off.

Build a network of friends where ever you go online and offline. This is something you need to involve yourself in on a daily basis and requires a lot of driving, a lot of walking and a lot of talking. But by doing this you will find quality people. You will not find a quantity of people however.

The other approach and is more common to SFI affiliates is finding quality in the vast quantity of people that flow in under you. This is the approach used by having a standing order of S-Builder, or bringing people through your own website or other online ads or directories. Either way you look at this business, it's a numbers game and to find the quality people you seek, you need to reach certain numbers.

The average is that 3% of the people will make it in SFI. So you need to think about how many PSA's you want to have. Typically to become successful in this business you will need at least 5 PSA's who maintain at least EA every month. Since the average is 3% you will want at least 200 PSA's and out of them there is a chance (no guarantee) that you will find 5 quality people.

SFI is an internet marketing and the reality of internet marketing is only 1 to 5 percent will be catch and see the opportunity and will get active. With this statistics you need the quantity first before you can select the quality affiliates. That is the truth in internet marketing.

Nevertheless we can increase the quality of our sign ups if we know what kind of affiliates are we looking for and we know where to look for them.

What kind of affiliates are we looking for that we can say that they are quality affiliates? For me good quality affiliates are those:
1. Who have tried network marketing or keen to earning online.
2. Who have credit cards or paypal account and have tried doing transaction/buying online.
You probably can guess now why those two qualities makes a an affiliate good quality affiliates.

Now where do find these people?

1. Well, one obvious answer is from people that you know personally or known to your friend. Find ways to bring those two qualities in your conversation.

2. From social media, you can also find people who have interest in online earning. Example in facebook just search for topic online earning and you will be shown with so many groups about earning online. Join those groups and you find yourself in the middle of like minded people, and start commenting in their post. Now, how do you know they have credit cards? hehehehe well, people from first world country (North America, Australia and Europe) almost all of them have credit cards. You can identify them through their family names and pictures. Start befriending them. You can the same in twitter.

The only way to shift from quantity to quality sign ups is in the "sifting and sorting" process when you are prospecting. You have to change how you are inviting people to join SFI. I have found that the best way to find quality people, is to focus your attention on offline prospecting. Purchase a really good network marketing lead list, and call them up. Ask them if they are still looking for a business opportunity. If they are, find out what they are looking for. Ask "qualifying" questions like "how much time each day can you devote to building your business", and "if you saw the right opportunity today, would you want to get started right away?". This will help you determine who is serious, and guide them to your SFI gateway. Stay on the phone with them as they sign up. Direct them to the SFI basics tab and tell them to earn at least 500VP before logging off. With this method, you start everyone off the RIGHT way. Many of them will be serious enough to set up their standing order in the first few days. The point is, you interact and begin forming a relationship with them from day one. Network marketing is, and will always be about building relationships. Give this method a try.

This is a very important question and one that some people just don't understand. Some affiliates think it's just a numbers game and recruiting as many as you can is a sure way to success. I could not disagree more. I'd much rather have 1 good PSA than 100 inactive PSA's.

One way I've had good success is by posting a review of SFI on my blog. I give an honest review and tell people what they can expect in the first month, 3rd month and after 6 months. This seems to weed out the people who are just looking and not really interested. The PSA's I'm signing up now are for the most part active and seem to be excelling with this opportunity. I still get some who are just looking, but that is just the nature of marketing online.

Don't try and oversell SFI in your review. Give people a real example of what to expect. Let them know upfront this is not a get rich quick scheme. Let them know they will need to work in order to make this opportunity successful. Let them know that it takes more than just completing your to do list everyday.

The more information you provide upfront to prospects, the better your prospects will be.

Since we cannot read a person’s mind it will be impossible for you to know who the serious signups are. However, we can alter the quality of our adverts – the placements and the wording, so that we can attract people who may be more serious about this business.

After we receive the signups we can observe those who are consistent in logging on daily; those who respond to the sponsor’s message and those who ask questions. Any of these actions indicate a level of interest.

Our next task then is to ensure that their questions are answered truthfully and try our best to keep them comfortable. Give enough information to keep their interest piqued. Avoid information overload. Try to allay whatever fears or doubts they ma have by sharing your own experiences and successes with them and by directing them to the testimonies of other affiliates.

Help them to set both long-term and short term goals so that the can progress and build confidence in the business. So that you don’t lose them, it is crucial that you guide them through these early stages. Within a few weeks/months you will be able to determine the quality.

Finally, help them build a dynamic downline.

Before attempting to shift our Sign-ups from Quantity to Quality, I would suggest that we sift them first to set up our priority.

Our genealogy section is the place where find the sign-ups in quantity.
Now ‘sift’ them to start working on them.
Yes, with just one click on the ‘Switch to condensed ***’, we have shortlisted our affiliates so that we can start to work on shifting them from ‘Quantity’ to ‘Quality’.

These are the people who showed some interest and started to work but ‘paused’ their activities for one reason or another.

The possible reasons may be:

The fear that SFI may be one of the SPAMs
The financial constrains coupled with the fear of investing on unknown venture
Their own doubt about their ability to communicate with others which they may feel is essential to succeed in SFI,
They feel that they may have to spend more time on the activities in SFI which they cannot afford, due to various reasons.
They just do not know how to start and go about in SFI.

Therefore we should first reach out to them through whatever way that is available to us and attempt to briefly explain how SFI is real and alley their fears on the above points and guide them to get started with simple actions.
Tell them about the rewards, awards, daily drawings, every hour winnings for which we all are. eligible to enjoy.

This may encourage them to respond and express their doubt on any particular issue which we can explain in detail so that they gain confidence in the system and start.

If we see the spark, it is the time for us to keep it burning into flame by our constant guidance, encouragement and rewards appropriately.

Leading them to the links on great tips and ‘experience posts’ from our peers will induce a lots of inspiration, interest and motivation in them to become active and ultimately turn them into Quality affiliates.

But never give up on the other affiliates who were left out in the process of ‘Sifting’. Continue sending them your team and other weekly mails. There are always chances that they may shift themselves into the Quality lot.

You've raised a very important question, which is the integral part of duplication. Quality sign-ups are a necessity, which leads to effective results for your sincere team-building & sponsoring efforts. Although there's no hard & fast rule to identify the quality sign-ups & no one can guarantee it, but still we can use some efforts to find them.

I'm trying to put up some methods mentioned below:

# One should be targeting the right persons. For eg. its much easier to target & convince the teens(without any experience & looking for easy money) as compared to the experienced ones(hard to convince but once done, they'll stay). The former ones will lead to quantity but the later ones will lead to quality.

# It's very important to clearly explain the program to the prospects. They should know it before joining that, its not an "quick money making process" & would require quality time & monetary(if possible, to boost up the business) investment along with sincere & regular efforts. A lot of prospects may turn down your offer immediately but the ones who'll still join to look forward are the quality sign-ups.

# The approach should not be like hiring someone but to get associated with them. Make them understand as soon as possible that they are not joining any traditional job(a fixed work schedule & salary) but getting associated with one of the leading organization's in online industry.

# Tell them clearly that SFI will be providing a perfect platform for them which includes training, online sessions, personal monitoring & continuous support. The rest will solely depend upon how much they can utilize this knowledge by investing quality time, dedication & money(if possible).

# They should treat it like their own business & act accordingly. They are not simple employees of SFI like many organizations(where you work as per assigned tasks & earn accordingly) but they'll be the business associates of SFI.

This funneling approach will definitely decrease the amount of your sign-ups but most importantly it'll provide the quality ones that you're looking for.

Out of quantity you can get quality.

You have no idea who can become part of your team. It could be a person who has the best leadership and business qualities but, until joining SFI, has not yet had the opportunity to display or develop them.

Unfortunately people (sponsors) become disappointed when sign-ups don't perform as they themselves have responded to the SFI opportunity. We must, however, keep in mind that not all people are the same and not everyone sees a successful future for themselves in SFI.

Even in offline network marketing businesses, you will be advised/encouraged to go for the numbers because you do not know what qualities are lying dormant in someone else. Don't be misled by approaching only people you know - often they cause bigger disappointment than people unknown to you when they become part of your team/business. In my opinion it is sometimes easier (safer?) to build a business relationship with someone whom you do not know rather than to try and maintain a personal relationship with someone who you have tried to involve in business. I have heard of various instances where good friends who were involved in business together lost their friendship because of expectations that were not met in the business relationship.

The quality of sign-ups is a major concern for all of us. Most of us are facing quality problems because of the many inactive affiliates. While quantity at the expense quality may not produce good results we still need the quantity factor to work on moulding these affiliates in order to shift from quantity to quality. So all is not lost if you have the quantity but lack the quality. By moulding the affiliates to achieve Team Leader status the quality can be improved.

The challenging task ahead in shifting from quantity to quality begins only after sending these affiliates “the welcome” email. This process continues by putting into practice the “being an awesome sponsor” guidelines.

Team Leaders can play a vital role in the transition from quantity to quality. As Team Leaders they have to look into ways to develop the full potential of their PSAs. Of course there will still be many inactive affiliates among the pack but there is still some chance to transform them into active affiliates by keeping in touch with them via Team Mailers etc.

A significant number of affiliates drop out after the first month because it’s so easy to qualify for EA during the first month but it’s a little harder for them to become EA2 as a little investment is needed for the qualifying 1500 VPs. Sponsors can focus on this particular target group and assist them to improve quality.

Many affiliates are lost after signing up and don’t know how to start. Perhaps they are overwhelmed by the many other resources on SFI pages. Advise them to start at SFI BASICS and not move on to other areas until they have understood SFI BASICS. From here they proceed on to Launchpad.

In concluding the quality aspects can be achieved and improved if sponsors/team leaders play their part in training and motivating their PSAs with the right approach.

In my opinion, there is no 100% of sign ups that would convert to become and remain active in SFI. Sponsoring is a numbers game. You have no control of people who are signed up and whatever their motives in signing up. Are they looking for quick money or are they self motivated to commit in a business opportunity like SFI?

If you are doing your own advertisement, include the following points/filters to get your target of quality affiliates:

1. Specify that there is work involve upon joining, logging in everyday.

2. Start with no money investment

3. Investment options available depending on primary goals

4. Long term commitment required.

Even if you include these points in your advertising, there are still people who are just curious and may not be interested at all. If you received your sign ups whether from your own advertising or by purchasing from one of ECAs at TripleClicks, use the following strategy to have a better probability in your sign ups quality:

1. Send them your welcome message and emphasize the work involve such as, logging in everyday, performing the To-Do List.

2. Always include your Leadership page link in your support messages to let them know about team goals, plans, tips, rewards/incentives and recognition for affiliate’s achievements.

3. Be prompt and sensitive in answering their needs.

4. Make them feel that they have your full support by communicating to them consistently that you are there for them.
