There are several factors that play into the equation but one is relevance. The process of tweaking sites to match these factors is called search engine optimization.

If your site is highly relevant, the search engine notes this in the equation and looks for other factors to determine ranking like traffic. If your site gets one or 2 visitors in a month then the search engine notes this and your site will be indexed accordingly. In the end, the site that gets found in the query is the one that ranks the highest for all of the factors in the algorithm. The search engines use all of the data they collect and match sites by relevance to the query.

Another way of putting it, is think of a client at a restaurant that orders Hawaiian Chicken. The waiter takes their order and 10 minutes later voila . . . the best Hawaiian Chicken the have tasted! So search engines take orders (queries) from users looking for information and then serves them a listing of the most 'appetizing' sites!

Thats quite easy. The thing is for your SFI website to be found on google, you have to enable "Allow search engines to find me" on your dashboard or site manager. Also you need to have enough content for display, which means your website has to be stocked and quite completed.

You should have enough information concerning what your site is all about. I think generally, your site should be well organized and well structured and also "Allow search engines to find me" like I noted earlier(This works with WordPress).

You should also have a keyword directory containing words that people would mostly use when searching for related content such as "how to work from home", "add a second income stream", etc. Note that the search results are ranked in default order of concretized content on the sites which bests captures and describes the search result.

Then you should start advertising your Website Address and what you sell or what services you offer, Tell a story or create a Banner, There are 1000's of places to advertise online for free.

this is question I have when I create my first web site.

Go to your websites in settings and clear your robot.txt file.

Then in settings you find google search keywords.

In that line you very careful wrote only important words like:
earn, money, home, online, buisness, sfi...

Save your work.

Open google and type the words You enter.

If You type that words (earn money home online buisness sfi) You will find your website.

Everyone who type those words will see Your page.

You can spend a ton of money on a flashy casino like site with bells and whistles to attract web surfers, but the reality is even if your main product was FREE GOLD and you were standing outside of your online shop with a sign too, if you do not market the site correctly, you gold is worthless as nobody ever knows you exist. Zero traffic, zero sales. However, if you follow the protocol correctly and keep it going, the Internet is so vast, it can make you a lot of money fast as once traffic flows and word catches on, your site becomes viral.

So, the million dollar question is what is the proper protocol to drive traffic to your website or promote it and advertise it so its visible. There are a couple points to make here. There are few main types of online advertising that will play into your success. One is of course SEO or search engine optimization which if done carefully, with good research of content, keywords, and constant updating where value is provided, can bring you a great deal of organic traffic from the Googles, yahoos, and Bing's of the world. The key to SEO, is optimizing your site to match that of your target market. The more YOU do to promote YOUR site, the more you will be seen and the more traffic you will get. This can be accomplished without the Googles of the world, but if you want the best of both traffic, organic and referral, then SEO and your own go to market promoting and advertising is recommended.

Keywords are very important in order to search for your SFI website, for example using keywords like “home business”, “internet business”, “work from home” etc. These keywords are relevant to your website content. However, I would refine the keywords further to zero in on your website. For example I will search for “SFI home business opportunity” or “SFI work from home”. With these refined keywords I will be able to find your SFI website on Google.

As you may or may not know, but Google (along with other search engines) have their own formula for searching the Internet. I would not rely on my SFI gateways to bring traffic from a search engine directly. I would build my own website (with my own domain name) and place my SFI gateways on that domain. You can build your own website to be search engine friendly (SEO) and that way Google and other search engines can start to rank your own website. There are just too many SFI affiliates for us to all get ranked through our gateways. As a matter of fact, SFI might block the search engines from crawling our gateways to be fair to all affiliates.

This is something you can learn about by using the google adwords keyword tool, and videow on Youtube that tell you how this tool works. I have learned that just like any product or website you have to think like a customer, ask yourwelf if you wanted to find an online business or work at home program then what keywords would you type and they you would type on the google engine all they keywords you come up with to see if your website appears on the pages.

If I were you I would just simply experiment on different search engines by typing all the keywords that I can think of as if I were a cutomer and see if your website shows up. That is what I do.
