That’s what a teams does, working together for the benefit of everyone in the team. So how do we do it?
It must start with the team leader. The team leader must lead by example. The leader must INSPIRE the team to achieve new heights. They must set the standard that they want the team to follow and duplicate.
Your badges are a great example of the work YOU are doing so don’t expect your team to do things you won’t, so as I said before lead by example.
Get the team excited. Competitions are a good way to get your team motivated. Give a reward for goals achieved, no matter how big or small. After all every small goal met is a step towards achieving the next goal.
Send out a weekly newsletter to everyone in your team. You could include tips for new people, recognition of goals or levels met, ideas for building your SFI business, the list is endless of what you can put in a newsletter. It does not have to be perfect but it must be informative and on a very regular basis. Ask for feedback from your team. Get ideas from people in your team on what works for them in building their business and share it in future newsletters with the rest of the team.
You have to encourage feedback and get the communication going two ways ( the ones who give you feedback on a regular basis are likely to be your active affiliates so you know who to work with)
Once the communication starts to flow back and forth ask for their ideas and opinions, get tips on what works for them and share it with the rest of the team (if you are given permission to do so)
It may take time to get your team actively involved as a community but if you are consistent with all your communications it will happen. It will start as a trickle and gradually become a flood as you earn peoples trust.

I cannot stress enough how important this is. In my opinion, a strong team is a team that not only communicates with you but communicates with each other. When I started, I looked to the SFI stars to see how to build my team and I noticed one thing they had in common. They had a website, blog or even just a group chat set up on Skype. This is what gives the real feeling that you belong to a team. If you can set up a media that allows your team members to communicate with you and each other, they will gain a lot more knowledge and know-how from each other. Each team member is an individual and has something different to add to the team.

By providing your team with a platform to converse with each other, you are setting up a pool from which each member can contribute and extract invaluable knowledge, help, understanding and experience. Building your team in this way makes your team dynamic. A dynamic team is forever moving in new directions, growing both upwards and outwards.

So if you want to build a team with true team spirit, provide a platform from which they can drive each other. Each member of your team has his/her own unique personality which they can add to the teams dynamics to give "true Team Spirit"

The best way to build a team with true team spirit in SFI is to be the best sponsor that you can be. Beside following all of the awesome tips provide in the SFI affiliate center, take 1 step further. Don't just ask your network to duplicate help them do it. As the sponsor, you have certain power to assign affiliates, TCredits, Gift Certificates, and your experience in SFI.

One of the problems I've encountered in SFI is that some sponsors expect their affiliates to know what they know and if they can't grasp the concept then they have no value. Every affiliate that joins SFI has value and brings value to SFI and your affiliates are your customers. So treat them royally and they will reward you royally.

Setting the expectation early on goes a long ways toward created a team spirit. Let your affiliates see that you are a team player by helping them make milestones and achieve their financial goals. In other words, go the extra mile of the way as a sponsor. Notwithstanding, you should never reward apathy but learn why if possible such a disposition was taken. No one comes to SFI without the expectation of making money. So first and far most help your affiliates to do that and you will have earned their loyalty and respect for life!

I believe the attitude of the people you attract to SFI starts with the type of ad you post that brings new team members in. Try to create ads that will appeal to people like yourself who have real goals, who understand you are promoting a business, and who understand it takes time to build a new business.

When people understand the "work" in a "Work From Home Business" and they really want to bring about change in their finances and their lifestyle, they will more likely remain
enthusiastic and upbeat.

When you bring these people into your team, be their #1 cheerleader. Send messages that will make them feel good about themselves. Congratulate their successes. Let your entire team know about their successes. Be ready to support your team in any way you can.

But also remember, not everyone will be oozing enthusiasm. Because of all the gimmicks, scams, "Get Rich Quick" stuff going into your team's emails every day, some of your team may be distracted. I've been seeing this stuff for 10 years and there are times I have to sort out the good from the bad. New marketers have not learned how to tell the difference between what is real and legitimate and what is simply a place to spend money giving nothing of value in return.

Finally, remember, enthusiasm breeds enthusiasm. If you stay upbeat, don't let it bother you when a team member does nothing and finally opts out. Focus your attention on the ones that are working and making progress, and cheer them on.

There is actually a secret to build a team with true team spirit in SFI and can not be done overnight.

Affiliates of SFI comes from 197 countries and when come together as a team, their individuality doesn't suddenly evaporate. They got diversified ages, cultures, different personalities, skills, hopes, fears. However, these factors are not hindrance to a team. To build a true team spirit, you as their team leader should recognize these differences, appreciate them and use them to the advantage of your team. Treat your team mates differently and thinks that they are very important.

To lessen the gap of differences, create a sound environment of communication with your team mates and create as well a common shared sense of purpose. We were asked to create an advertising coop for our team. Let this be common to our team mates by sharing the cost, ideas and creativity on how to go about it, and share everything benefit and losses the team may derived from the created coop. Set a team deadline to meet your common goal and emphasize the importance of everyone's contribution to the success of your advertising campaign. Since this is a shared coop, let each member of your team responsible for the advertising coop so there is no one to blame if it fails. If in case your team lost, try again and create another one until you finally succeed.

Let them feel you are around and do care on their progress. Let them feel free to reach you anytime they need your assistance. When you see them log in, have a chat and assist them earn VersaPoints. Give them some tips that would cost them lesser. This would build trust between yourselves. Sometimes, you need to assist them locate the links especially when they are new comers. 1: Be active and online mostly to communicate your downline. The different time zone's problem we may face eachother.

2: make you communication strong with your CSAS and PSAS

Well I strongly believe that depends from the leader and I doubt there is only one way...just as there are many characters in SFI (and in world overall) there are many ways to get the job done.

However, there are some common key points:
1.INSPIRE them to work with joy,give them positive energy,make VISIBLE all the positive things about SFI ( which are MANY ,MANY, but very few can see them at the beginning ), show them how much you enjoy your SFI business ---> lift up the team spirit by starting a positive wave.
2.LEAD BY EXAMPLE ---> Don't just tell them how and what to do,but do those things by yourself first (great "spokesman" for you are your badges )
3.ORGANIZE ONLINE GROUP CHAT (or support group)---> place where you can all meet, communicate and bond so you will lose the feeling of being alone in this business.Other people face same problems as you!!!
4.SHARE THE KNOWLEDGE ---> I know something that you don't know,you know another thing that I don't know,my CSA knows something that we both don't know...so we all talk and tell each other what we have learned. Result? We all know more = stronger team :D

2. Involve and encourage the team members to emulate what you are doing for their success and growth as a team. Encourage them to be active on their daily tasks on SFI home page and consider SFI as their own business. Successful team demonstrates a common desire to achieve specific objectives.
3. Successful team will always devote sufficient time, effort and money to the formulation of the objective to be accepted.
