If you can not afford paid advertising you have to dedicate as much time and energy as possible to the free methods available to you:

- create a facebook page for your SFI business and invite all your friend to see it
- post ads on Craigslist and other free advertising sites using your Gateways

- spread the word about SFI within your family, circle of friend, neighbors, church, school, work, etc.

Show them that SFI has games at the TripleClick website, and that they can win VersaPoints and MRPs that they can use. Because young people like bargains and electronic toys, introduce them to the Pricebenders Penny Auctions and show them some of the prices phones and ipads ,etc have sold for.

A young person usually has more than five hundred friend on Facebook. Show them how they can use their Gateway links to tell all their Facebook friends about SFI. Plain and simply, free blogs and websites where they can place their text links and banner ads to help sponsor people at SFI. Focus on business building by utilizing their time effectively.

Since your question suggests they have little or no money, they will need to spend their time instead. Encourage them to make it a daily task of completing their red tabs as well as getting a free blog and website and adding content to it daily. They should put a text link to their SFI portal in every post at the end of the article.

They can surf the internet for ideas on posting articles, but make sure they do not copy other people's work. They can gain ideas from other authors, but they need to write their own content and make it their own.

They should spend time reading every day as much as they can on SFI. This will help train their mind so they get to know SFI inside and out. This will also better prepare them for writing their own articles and information. As they improve encourage them to go back to their articles and read them after a couple months and see what updates they can make to them. They will be surprised at how much more they can add to their blog at that point.

Make sure they go to work every day on SFI just like they would any business or job. Advise them that no body ever got paid for not showing up. As they spend time and grow their business, in time they will see the results of their efforts. Let them know it takes time and that they need to keep at it consistently.

If I understand you're question correctly, you are trying to find the best marketing tool within SFI to reach unemployed or under-employed young persons...

If this is correct, the BEST tool out there is the TripleClicks gift card... it gives them $12 to spend on T-Credits - they can get 6 T-Credits AND explore the site... they ALSO get 612 VersaPoints for those 6 T-Credits.

Along with all the action points you can get your first month, they can easily make EA. Then, I would explain that if they are able to get 6 other people to try it as well - and purchase SIX T-Credits for $11.34, then the commission your new affiliate would earn from those purchases is $20.88, which would allow them to purchase 10 T-Credits for $18.90 in their second month - NOW THEY ARE EA2 (with the month 2 action points).

Find another 6 people to purchase the 6 T-Credits in their second month and they continue to build their business and PSA's. And remember, because you gave them the gift card to start - they didn't spend anything from their own pocket to get going!

In working with the homeless, unemployed or underemployed, I have learned a lot about the way they think and respond to new ideas and concepts. They need people to listen to them, to their story or what has brought them to where they are today. This brought me to being able to understand their needs and what I can do to help them move from where they are to where they need and even, a lot of them, even want to be; but, do not know how to get beyond their own hurts and misfortunes.

1. I go to where they are. I put myself in their shoes and I get on their level. I post flyers in places like laundry-mats, dry cleaners, places where they shop, eat and gather. Yes, you will get a lot of ones that are just curious, wanting easy money or just do not really want to work at all; but, you can at least give them an opportunity and who knows even find that person, who is real, about making money. They will be the ones to help you reach your goals and dreams. Plus you will be helping others find their way in life.

2. I put flyers out such as help wanted or learn computers while you earn money. Then my favorites for these projects are the TripleClicks flyers that say get money for your unwanted items, clean out your attic by selling those unwanted items or the price bender auction adds that talk about, you can will great new products for pennies on the dollar or up to 90% and more off new electronics and more.

3. You get the idea. Post these flyers and watch the calls come in. As they call you, give them as little information as possible on the phone and get them to agree to an interview, for their job, as soon as possible. Get names and phone numbers that you can call them back before their interview to confirm and remind them of how important it is for them to be their.

4. At the interview, show them, the auctions and how they work. Show some of the items people have won at very low prices. Show them how they can make money selling item on TripleClicks. Then show them how they will earn while they learn. After you have done this you are now ready to start entering in their information to sign them up.

This works with young or old. Older ones that may be homeless may need more training on the computer, so you may have to spend more time with them, to keep them interested. Make it exciting. Young people who may be just getting out of school may not be able to find employment or is working part time at a dead end job and will be looking to help supplement their income. Don’t limit yourself, sign up everyone you can. Some will fall by the wayside others will help make you become wealthy.

As the general in the movie "Buffalo Soldiers" said: "the best soldiers come from dirt". And there is nothing derogatory in this phrase. It simply says that the less people have, the more willing they are to sacrifice to achieve more. I keep my fingers crossed for you to encourage those people to work with SFI and make their future better.

Of all the marketing tools to use, I'd first suggest all graphical aids that may help you build your presentation. If I understand you right, you're going to promote SFI offline to those youngsters, so a good PowerPoint presentation may be your most efficient and effective method.

Also the SFI X-Cards can come in handy here and if you can afford to spend some money, small merchandise like stickers or buttons can be helpful, too. If you manage to get those young people interested and if they join SFI, distribute the buttons to them, and tell them to get their SFI X-Cards. Whenever somebody asks them about the button, they can give out a card and perhaps get a new affiliate also this way.

Apart from that, a good training is a must here and I would start with the compensation plan (not a marketing tool, but can be used as such), explaining at the same time, however, that the results do not come overnight... Young people are geared towards almost immediate effects and the fact that SFI is a long term commitment can work as a deterrent here. But if you can back the compensation plan with YOUR results, you may get them really hooked.

One more thing to close, and as strange as it may seem, please do that: watch and have your prospective affiliates watch "The Secret" movie, and then present SFI. It will be easier for you to explain to those young people that their actions today create their future, and the long term commitment to SFI may be easier to overcome then.
