There are only FEW VERY important things you have to let them know:

1.First of all BE HONEST!!!
Don't promise them fast earnings in short time.
Let them know that the more they learn about SFI and TripleClicks the more powerful they get.Also ,that same knowledge will be very valuable when they will have to transfer it to their team.
Let them know about all the different ways they can earn cash(SFI Compensation Plan):direct commissions , executive pool ,co-sponsor commissions ,ECA program as well as to check the benefits chart and earnings calculator.Also don't forget to mention (if you already haven't) the $50 and $250 cash prizes that they can win from E365 and Wave3 as well as rewards from Daily Grand and T-Time.

2.Let them know about importance of BUILDING A TEAM and how to do it.Send them to the forum,social networks groups(if you know/have any),your up-line and give them all support you can so they will know that they have something/someone to relay on.

3.Let them know about the importance of the ADVERTISING aspect.Give them necessary links,safe lists,templates for advertising,places they can advertise on,personal gateways,how to use hit tracking option,what to advertise and so on.

4.And last but not at least :Teach (and encourage)them to THINK POSITIVELY and not to give up at the first,2nd or 10th obstacle.Obstacles are designed so we can jump them over,move forward leaving the people with prejudice,doubts and small dreams behind us as well as to filter the successful people from unsuccessful ones.

This might have been said but I'll say it again...

What I have been doing is pointing to the importance of reaching and maintaining EA2 rank and encourage purchasing an SO to ensure you qualify for each month. So far, it doesn't seem like any of my PSA's are listening to that advice. I guess many want to continue to grow their SFI business without financially investing. I suggest to them opting to no financial investment is the long and hard way to growing your SFI business and let them know it's rather difficult to maintain your EA rank without purchasing an SO.

Sure you can suggest to your PSA's to keep their VP's to 1500 VP's every month but I found it really simple to reach BTL rank my first month and acheive BTL rank my second month. Not sure if that will be the case every month but if you can reach BTL rank your first month then great! Then again, I had PSA's my first month so if you don't have PSA's your first month there really is no point reaching a BTL rank other than the fact that having that many VP's every month would help you to reach the top 10 in your class. Currently I stand in the top 10 of my class and am an E365 finalist. You want to strive to becoming at least the top 10 in your class. I suggest to my PSA's the more badges they earn the more established their SFI business will be and the higher their rank the more ways they can earn an income through SFI and then direct them to the benefit chart which lays out what each rank can earn.

I also point out to my PSA's the 3 step plan and send them a link to watch a video explaining the 3 step plan while suggestion if they want to build a strong and profitable business, have an entrepreneurial mind set, and are serious about SFI they should consider the 3 step plan.

In this way you not only prepare your affiliates for their second month but hopefully by their second month you've given your affiliates an overall picture of what to expect with SFI that will encourage them long after their second month and actually prepare them for their first year of SFI. Some will take time to build their SFI and not want to financially invest their first month. You also want to prepare your affiliates for a long road and hard work up ahead so that they continue for at least their first year and hopefully by their second year they'll gain more understanding and will make the choice to continue. I suggest to each affiliate that building your SFI is much the same as building a small business that is part of a franchise. Most people starting up a small business will spend thousands of dollars and will re-evaluate their financial investment after two to three years before deciding whether or not the investment of their time and finances was worth it. Then at least they'll get the idea that SFI is a business not a hobby.

That said, you can prepare each and every one of your affiliates but truth is, most people really don't want to listen or even hear you or take your advise they want to learn the hard way. You want to prepare your affiliates for their second month and even for their first year but you don't want to create a bunch of affiliates dependent upon you that leads to you doing the work that your affiliates should be doing. I always tell my affiliates to send me a message if they have any questions or concerns or need assistance. Usually if they send me a message they really want to make their SFI business work and some may think they have a better way then what I have suggested, ok that's fine especially if you see they have developed their own unique plan and have found ways that works for them and are utilizing their creativity. That's awesome! But they have to be willing to learn the business and do the work of study themselves.

I have just finished creating my materials for small groups that I will lead online and at group meetings.

****IMPORTANT: Recommend that each of your affiliates invest $50 to $100 in their business until they make that much in revenue. I recommend S-builder and TCredits.****

1. Make sure that each PSA or CSA understands this is a business that requires investment. Whether that investment is in time or with money, it requires commitment.
Have them start advertising as soon as possible.

2. Encourage the affiliate to take the first month slow. You want them to qualify, but just barely. Have them re-read and understand the lessons in Launchpad and Start, and encourage your affiliate to log in each day. Save the majority of the VP Ledger points for the second month.


3. I worked out that if you only do the launch pad lessons, but not the extra reading lessons- saving them for month 2, that the affiliate could still have enough versa points to qualify as an EA2 as long as they did as much as possible to earn the rest of the VP Ledger Points.

4. For the subsequent months, it is hoped that the advertising bares fruit. I would continue to encourage your affiliates to purchase S-Builder Co-ops.

I guess it's best to approach and come clean to let them know for a fact that SFI is not a get rich overnight scheme and that the good thing is every affiliate starts from ground zero on 1st of the month on the Same footing regardless of how well and how much you have done for the previous month .

I would also remind them that if they are serious towards  having a decent income for life then they had better put in a standing order for 1500Vps or more be it IAHBE or for 125 TCs and if possible commit to a Scoop for building quality  new sign ups .

Share and encourage them to check in daily and not only do the daily tasks but learn the business and start posting ads and sharing with your contacts about the wonderful business and participate in the Pricebenders as well as refer ECAs and start listing some products on the TRIPLE CLICKS store as its their virtual owned store 

And most important is I will assure them that I am available to help them in whatever ways possible to make it in SFI

First and foremost, review and assess yourself for this month:

Did you achieve your July's goals? If yes, what's your strategy? If no, what's are your obstacles? Have you planned for your next month (August) goals?

Then, review and assess your affiliates:

Your self assessment info should be relayed to your affiliates. Make them aware that setting up and reviewing their goals are crucial in advancing themselves in SFI for the second month:

Before sending the message, you should categorize these affiliates into 3 categories as the message directed to them MUST match their status as to have maximum impact. Please refer to the following:

1) Already achieved EA status - focus on helping and guiding them to achieve EA2. Emphasize on the importance of setting up Standing Order to ensure their rank and benefits. You can motivate them by throwing out some kind of incentives of Tcredit, affiliates reassigment, gift certificate and etc.

2) Active but not yet achieved EA status - focus on motivating them to achieve minimum of 1500 VP. Go through their VP ledger and provide review on what are their strength and what are the things lacking. By doing this, your affiliates are aware that you are concern on their progress with SFI.

3) No or less activity - focus on motivating them to take actions. Don't worry if they are not responding because if they do not opt-out, there's still possibility they will take action one day. The main thing is to feed them with positive info from time to time.

Very intelligent question! Yes we who are ahead knew that the second month is the most critical this is where many of those who started well quit SFI.

The preparation must start from the day our affiliate sign-in and we should prepare them in two circumstances.

1. We prepare them to become an EA2
2. We prepare them to continue even if they won't achieve EA2

In the first month there are few things that we should share immediately so that they will be prepared for the second month either as EA2 or not.

1. We should limit their VP to 1500 during the first month - we must help them to get the 200VP bonus as fast tracker on the first day. Help them count the number of VPs they can earn daily and add few more VP from different activities to complete the 1500.

2. We should let them earn the first month so that they have something to buy next month and maintain their EA status. The fastest way to do this is for them to be able to invite their friends and relatives who are keen on online earning and have credit cards or paypal to sign up either as PRM and PSA.

3. Encourage them to learn the basics and launchpad as early as possible so that immediately, they will be effective in sponsoring.

4. Tell them in advance that in case they can not maintain their EA, it's okey because this is a long term endeavor, and help him to concentrate on recruiting affiliates and build his team because ultimately our success in SFI will largely depends on our affiliates. So them focus on finding affiliates.

5. If you see them short of few points but at the same time they have a very promising down-lines, then its good to pass on gift certificate to them.

Getting started is mostly easy and interesting. The actual test of skills and capabilities is when we continue to retain our status once achieved.

Yes if we follow the SFI instructions and getting started tips carefully and move in proper direction we can acquire the EA status with in a week of signing in. Some even got it in 24 hours. But to retain this rank is where our determination and steadfast behavior are required. We all know the importance of Retaining EA rank.

This is what we need to emphasis upon in our communication with our downline in their second month.

SFI is a business and follow the same universal rules and regulations as are followed by any other business and they are:

a) Well thought of and calculated business plan
b) Adequate knowledge of the business
c) Commitment
d) Continuous improvement
e) Financial management

Speaking in the light of my own experience I will teach my downline few things that I have learnt. They are as follow:

!. Be calculated and prepared:

In the first month we are given VPs for mostly for learning SFI but these VPs are awarded only once.

In the second month we will have to work our ways to get the VPs. I will advise my downline to plan their strategies. There are VPs that expires every day these VPs no affiliate should loose and for that they have to do all the TO DO LIST daily actions.
Then there are VPs awarded for weekly actions. These should be acquired by performing weekly actions. And there are monthly VPs for monthly actions which can be taken once a month. These are 497 VPs/month for free.

a) The daily Actions 11 VP = 11 x 30 = 330 VPs at the end of the month.
b) The weekly points 35/week = 35 x 4 = 140 VPs at the end of the months.
c) The Stream posts 3/week = 3 x 4 = 12 VPs at the end of the month.
d) Rating for the sponsor 10 VPs/month.
e) Submitting of goals 5 VPs/month.

Now 497 - 1500 = 1003 VPs are the actual test of skills.

Here are some tips for how we can manage these.

This is a great question and one that has definitely been on my mind a lot lately.

The 1st day of the 2nd month is where we "separate the men from the boys", so to speak. What I mean by that is...the first month is easy. You get a lot of points real quick. Good things happen. You get excited because you are moving up. You might even have a small team of your own and a few thousand VP and things are looking great!

Then, you log in on the 1st of the month and VP says 0. What? Where did they go? Maybe some panic sets in. You're searching for answers. Hopefully, you can find them as I had to do. My sponsor was not active and there is not a lot of contact from other up-line members. That's ok...for me. Probably not, for most others. I was never made aware of what to expect.

I think that at some point during that 1st month, we need to look at who is really moving on our team. Most affiliates are going to be idle. That's a given. There is no point wasting time coaching these people about the 2nd month when they obviously can't do the 1st month. That's just the way I see it. We need to find out where our mover's heads are. Are they really willing to put in the effort necessary to succeed in this business? This is where we find out.

Send a message to your movers. Let them know what to expect when they log in. Ask them if they are ready to put forth the effort to repeat the whole process every month. If they are not, they will not succeed. If they are ready and willing to keep on going and not worry about it but just do it, you have the cornerstones of your business foundation. Don't overload them with canned info they can get from their own research. Tell them what it is really like and tell them to just "look at me". I did it because I have the desire to succeed. Do you? Be polite but at the same time, blunt. Reality is blunt and in your face. I really hope this helps somebody as I am getting ready to do exactly this with my movers.

Basically, I tell them up front that this business takes time to grow, like anything else. Money will not come to you overnight. A business is not an overnight success. So I tell affiliates to go to the Start button, then to Basics, then to the LaunchPad and encourage them to ask questions and keep in touch with me. I tell them that I am here to help them.

It is always good to encourage affiliates to set up a Standing Order (SO) at the beginning. Also, affiliates need to read, read and read and take their time learning everything until they understand all the lessons and how this business works. they will come to understand, if they do this, that it takes hard work and an investment of time and money (when available) to grow in this business. They should invest now, if possible, so that in the second month they can begin to use what they have learned and the tools available to them at SFI, to their advantage and to help everyone else on the team. There's no room for selfishness or laziness in this business. If an affiliate still thinks, after this time, that a business can grow without doing anything, something is dreadfully wrong. By the second month, an affiliate should realize that it is important to log in every day and to complete tasks and watch their goals and make changes in the direction they are going if they need to do so. We, as fellow affiliates, must be patient with them but encourage them to keep moving or they will backslide.

Overemphasis on getting affiliates earn their first 1500 VPs, in my opinion has often meant that very little is mentioned about the days to come. In my opinion this is tantamount to throwing someone who has never been in the water before into the sea with their limbs tied. I felt like that before when for nearly 3 months I had to find my way out. Thankfully, I survived and promised not to let others go through the same experience.

My strategy with all my new affiliates is to get them to realising that they need more than completing the daily and monthly activities. I point out to them that SFI is not a quick fix but a very productive business that requires them to participate actively. I guide them to create links to products they themselves love and find easy to promote. In so doing they are learning to build their own commission pool as well as points. This method is particularly useful for those who do not have much to spend.

I also encourage them to stretch their dollar as far as it can possibly go to get the best value for it. The key here is to go beyond common sense and apply ECONOMIC sense instead. It is a fact that if you fish through TripleClicks you will come through worthy items that are priced less and give more points in total singles than if sold as bundles e.g. 11 x 1 TC will cost $20.79 with total earning of 1122 VP. In contrast 50 TC will cost $19.50 and yield 694 points. There are many more.

Explain the importance of duplication and its associate benefits. Make them realise that duplication is not just about adding numbers to SFI but a way of building your income through commission and VPs gained through supporting them. Support an EA2 will earn one 100 points.

In all, be honest and helpful. Guide them to use SFI tools to their advantage. Let them realise from the beginning that they may need to look elsewhere to get points and this does not have to be expensive.
