I think this is not correct to say that every one thinks the same way, but yes many people have such thinking's in their mind, when it comes to internet marketing. Hence almost each and every individual know this is not possible, but still becomes victim. Every one need money it doesn't means to take shortcut, and dear friends there is no shortcut to become rich, if so happened there is some thing going wrong and may collapse at any time.

I believe at the onset, making money on the internet was very easy. Because the customer base was huge and the programs were very few and so those who came into it were able to make it easy and quick.
When people became aware of the huge potentials in this sector more programs were established, some of them scams. A lot of people fell victims and the era of caution set in.
So even though we now have a more caucious customer base, a lot of people still believe you can come in and pick up your check just for signing up.
The advertisers are not making things any easier with the adverts you see everyday promising to make them thousands in 60 seconds.
So they signup for SFI expecting the same, and when they dont get it they leave disappointed. Unfortunately even the educated fall victim.
That is the picture of the big funnel for you. Win some loose "MOST"

As a general rule, when dealing with the motivations of people, there really is no answer to the "Why" question. That is because even with all our commonalities we are still all our own unique individuals.

I joined SFI in 2001. I found it doing traffice exchanges. All of the sites that I used to see back then (and I know because I bookmarked them and they are still there in my bookmarks) are gone except SFI. Back then, I was looking for ways to make money fast. One HYIP actually made me some money, then, of course it disappeared and all the people I had told about it were quite upset with me. It was then I set up my Standing Order and let it ride for years, getting a monthly check (small). When that started to get smaller, I thought I needed to go elsewhere. Fortunately, I logged in and discovered all the training and marketing material that SFI provides. The light went on! This is a business! Not a system or a scheme! SFI is growing, and to make money we need to grow our business (not just have a standing order).

The promises are still out there when I check out the traffic exchange sites. If you read the fine print, even the ones promising $10,000 are not really promising that you will get it.

SFI is different! It is a business, with a business model and a plan. While it takes longer, building an income can even be developed without spending money. What I learned is that I can spend a little money and get large results. I don't know of any other online business that has that kind of potential.

I won't get rich, unless I help me team get rich. I think we're on the right track.

why some body wanna get rich soon:Because, in this materialistic age, the emphasis is on consumer objects and conspicuous consumption, so people have deluded themselves that possessing more will bring happiness.
Coming to the question why SFI is fascinating them to think its a get rich program
1.when they see the banners with lot of dollars flying they think its all gonna be for them.
2.lot of them join from the PTC sites which make them think its like clicking on some tabs everyday and at the end of the day or week or month they are going to be credited with dollars.
3.they just look the contest and think it is going to flood them with money by clicking some contest tab.
4.they doesn't read the articles what the program is all really about.And many of them ignore the mails sent by the corporate, sponsors, co sponsors etc..
5.People are now aware of matrix programs and they assume mere joining some downlines may fetch them money soon(even it they don't work). This makes them think SFI is such a one.
6.Many people believe they have to do something to get rich quicker, only some people believe that they have to be something to get rich.(there may be lot of affiliates only few are climbing the ladder
7.Many people have a lottery mentality they just see SFI as a lottery only few people think of action mentality.

The answer to this question lies in 2 areas; firstly in the minds of people wanting to make money on the internet, and secondly the false advertising about quick and easy money available both offline and online.

People in this economically difficult time are often desperate and searching for a way out of their difficulties. This is very easy to understand. When you are struggling to put a roof over your head or food on the table, you want to find something that will alleviate the situation as quickly as you can. I don't think these people are necessarily lazy or want something for nothing. When they see that SFI is free to join, they are quick to sign up, hoping that they can make fast money to end their problems.

There are many people who want their circumstances to change, but aren't willing to change themselves or what they currently do, in order to bring about a change in their circumstances. These are the people who just want to get a better standard of living - they're not desperate but want more things, like a better car, a bigger home, fancier clothes etc. They want to live a wealthy lifestyle, but aren't really motivated enough to bother doing anything that looks like work. They hope that SFI will be an easy way to get the things they want, but aren't that worried if it doesn't work. They have no real passion driving them.

Also the credit based culture of today leads to the idea of instant gratification. All the ads on TV and radio tell us we deserve this and that. We are encouraged to go out and spend money that we don't have and worry about paying it off later. No-one wants to wait for things any more. Gone are the days of newly weds eating off packing crates because they can't afford a table, or going on their honeymoon by train, such as my parents did. This instant gratification mentality undermines the work ethic of people and leads them to think the world owes them a living. Consequently, they are searching for the magic route to instant wealth to provide the means to give them all the things they believe they deserve and have a right to.

Then of course there are many unscrupulous people who give the impression that the internet is brimming full of millionaires, and it is so easy to make a quick buck. How many ads have you seen promising that you will make $1000 a week or a day in no time at all? Then there are people who brag about making money while they sleep! That sounds pretty good to me! These people don't explain to the readers or hearers of their ads that this residual income can take many months or years of hard slogging to build up. No-one made money in their sleep from Day One in their internet business. People hear all that and are naturally carried away, and finding a free to join opportunity like SFI, think they can make money in their sleep with this and join up. When the reality hits them, that they have been conned by these false hopes, they give up and think the whole idea of internet marketing is a scam.

We need to make sure in our own advertising, that we tell the truth and tell people that hard work, time commitment, perseverance and some financial investment is necessary to make a success of our SFI business. We only waste our own time and resources as well as those of people who join under wrong impressions. If you spend money in an advertising campaign, it is counter-productive to lure people into our businesses who will not work and advance our businesses, because they have come with unreal expectations.

Yes many people who do not understand the business tend to think that just by registering and having their name on board will earn them money which is not so.

We have a challenge of explaining to them that it is not a get rich now program but with constant and motivation will make them money.
So let's not give up when they sign in and do nothing, let's just keep on motivating them and telling them that through their committement they will reap the rewards.

You are right to ask and I can verily say many of whom are successful with SFI first thought the same way. This comes down to a few reasons.

1. Many people have been manipulated on the internet with get rich schemes. When they come along SFI from a search engine or a blog even those refereed by an affiliate they most times conclude this way.

2. Many Others fail to be Patient with SFI, they think about creating a2a page, going through the Lauch Pad series and starting with the great information from the SFI Basics page as a waste of time.

3. There is a laziness in the minds of people. This leads them to think they will put a few dollars some where and then sit at home and wait for a big check at the end of the month. This is wrong and that's why people who develop "get rich quick schemes" succeed because they find desperate, lazy people who are not willing to work.

Finally I would love to appreciate the work done by Gery and the SFI Team for setting up a sincere and educative way of earning from the Internet. I believe the Sky is the Limit with SFI.

People entering SFI who really think and study realize that it isn't a get-rich-quick scheme. These are the people we need to find. Most people signing up with SFI have the HOPE that it will be a get-rich-scheme. You can counter this by letting them know up front that they need to work at the program, reading the training materials is their first job and for this they will make a little more than $1.00, but as they grow and learn they will make more.

As many have said, we are conditioned to think that all you have to do is sign up for a program and the dollars will pour in. Many of us in SFI have been that route and lost money before we came to the realization that we really have something special in SFI. SFI requires effort, dedication and consistency. Yet it is designed to help you learn and use these skills. You are rewarded for your efforts from the executive pool just the same as every other member is rewarded by gaining VP. You are promised no freebies that propel you to making money. The magic supposedly in the internet as a fast and quick way to riches is only smoke and mirrors. Of course there are some that do make money and make a lot of it, but often it is short lived and isn't sustained without great effort and investment on their part.

I think it will would help online job seekers a great deal to really understand what "Residual Income" means. It is hard for a lot of us to put in the many hours, days, and months it takes to build a strong team/upline and not get paid a significant amount throughout the process.
We need a true understanding of what we are working towards with SFI, which is a legitimate, lifetime, residual income. This income comes from building a team of people with the same dedicated work ethic as you, who duplicate what you have done to bring success to your business.
If you build a strong team of even a few individuals who bring on a few more dedicated individuals, you will soon see the value in your efforts.
As an Upline member once stated, they are still making money on someone they recruited 10 years ago! And hopefully my sponsor will have the same experience with me- that's how it works!

The reason for this is that WE advertise in the normal way ie Traffic exchanges.If we use thease we will only get the same people who are looking for easy ways to earn money.We need to access the genuine person who are looking for a business as start up or as second or third on line business.I know we need to spend our advertising Budgets wisely .I think we should spend it with Business's who understand and Have faith in Strong Future International.They show their Faith by being ECA's.
