Dear Team, this is a very important aspect of growing on SFI; but very difficult decide due to following:
1.Unless you have personally selected/supported an Affiliate, keeping them MOTIVATED is a challange.
2.Affiliates,who do not check mail or visit SFI,after enrollment, very difficult to bring back.
3.Affiliate,who start well,but looking for QUICK RESULTS,give-up n don't come back.

So, the answer is to build your Team with GOOD/ACTIVE Affiliates n keep them in good nick by

Appreciate your answers all but arent we missing the point? Not everyone likes contests! The real question is about motivation. Every management book I have read talks about recognition and title rather than money as a motivating factor and if you want to build a successful team it is not the gifts, tc credits or even reassignment in their early stages with SFI but the recognition and positive feedback you give them and that they respond to.

If you keep offering prizes then their motivation

Firstly i think you need to gauge just how serious your affiliates are bout doing this. The first competition i ran was won by someone who had the highest VP but did nothing after 2 days so i would suggest putting a few conditions in there such as as VP trigger limit to be eligible to win. Then to show you are engaged in the competition send out weekly newsletters detailing up to date results of your competition so your affiliates can have a benchmark to hit to be better. However try to keep it light

Good question Leslie Jenkins. It will help many people who have never organized contest yet.

CONTEST is the best way to attract the PSA and CSA and remain them active.
As per my point of view Tcredits or Affiliate reassignment or Gift certificate, any one is the best way to attract your Affiliates.

What is essential part of contest is " You must get them know the IMPORTANCE of your Contest prize"

Let them know about IMPORTANCE of your contest prize

As I am relatively new to this my view is based on what whould work for me, SFI is based on the building of an extensed member base (affiliates) and excelent range of products that is needed by every body. The kind of competition that will work in such an environment would surely be the one that stimulate participation with the least amount of effort. To see who in your downline get the most VP, or PSA's every week could be some criteria for a competition.

According to me the best way to attract PSAs or CSAs is to give them free gifts like $1 cash and VP. Everyone (especially people with less income) is entering business to see what extra money they can earn without investment. If it takes them too much time or too long in earning cash they might quit. Many people are ready to spend time and work hard if they feel that they can really earn something in cash. So in the beginning if they are given cash and VP it will really motivate them. Many people

I have run about three contests in my team and I have noticed that if you want your affiliates to participate, the contest must be creative and competitive. In a contest that encourages every PSA or CSA to become EA, with Tcredits as rewards, those who are already EA feel left out and complain. So as a leader, you first need to determine who should take part and what kind of contest it should be. Make your contest such that it appeals to the affected PSAs or CSAs. In terms of rewards, I have seen

I started my "EA 4 a year" quarterly contest about 3 years ago to try and encourage a longer term commitment from my team. Too many people quit too soon without giving their business time to develop.

The way the contest works is you earn 1 entry for each month of the quarter you are an EA (up to 3 per quarter). The prize is $30.00 (GC) a month for the next 12 months (if you fail to reach EA remaining months are forfeited)
