Has anyone tried the paid Facebook advertising and, if so, did it work/was it was worth the cost?

Yes, I have tried it without any success. No luck with the URL. I then started using my own website and my blog for advertisement in Facebook and started getting hits and sign-ups. I have also created a custom page in FB and using that for promotion. I am happy that I did not waste much money placing paid ads in FB.

I am still working on it with facebook you either have to have either a paypal account or a credit card link to it and have to watch how much you want to pay per click to it.
They wanted me to bid from $1.80 to $2.35 per click and I couldn't find no area of interest they have to offer for internet business. You have to put it in a certain area for it to work to get people want to do it and I just didn't see no area to put it so I put it on hold. They do give you $25 dollars to get it started

Facebook is a great place to get new leads. The best way to do this is no to advertise on Facebook, but use the info there to personally phone them and talk to the people about the business. The personal touch goes much further than a plain old advert.

I have tried FB advertising for several opportunities and yes it does work but it is important you have a fanpage to direct your advertising to. FB much prefer if you keep traffic on FB so having a fanpage does this for you. You can have more than one fanpage so you can set one up especially for SFI and have lots of information there for people. FB gives you the name of your fans so you can always message them about SFI and Trippleclicks etc. Hope that helps.

Actually, I do not post ads on any social network pages because they are what they are, social networks. I wouldn't waste my money on those. I would give my attention to telling people about the products you find on those sites, but I would rather advertise with the co-ops, the eCards, the new gift cards and other ways that SFI has provided. If you have a car, or you can work with someone who does, you can use Wave3.

Well i would say a direct NO for facebook advertising,i have tried it and got no results..
Facebook as the name states its a social networking site, so people come to enjoy, chill out, share pics and chat with each other, those who are serious towards earning does not look towards facebook to earn income.
Also now a days, facebook has blocked any link which contains sfi in it,means you can even post or comment in any page to advertise.
So its better to try other paid advertisement sites

I have Tried FB Ads for other programs before and I got a lot of clicks but not one sale or sign up so I honestly have not tried them again for advertising. I did however make a fan page for one of my sites and got a few "fans" and Likes but Still no sales.
So im only using face book to share tripleclicks auctions and I post my links in status updates.

I tried Facebook advertising also, FB offers a free Fan Page, but your friends will not see it unless they know it's there. To get visitors FB ask for a pay per click fee. Facebook was nice enough to provide me with a $50.00 coupon. I did get a few more likes but no sign ups.

I paused my campaign and FB sent me another coupon. I set up a new campaign and forgot to pause it. My account ran $30.00 over and FB wanted to bill me.

After a couple emails and a serious request to forgive
