I recently did a survey of my team, and the biggest challenge they face is money. So, from that I would say a gift certificate would be most effective.

More importantly though, than rewarding your affiliates is to dispel the misconception that you need to be an Executive Affiliate (EA) to have a profitable business. This misconception chases more affiliates away than anything else. A gift certificate will only delay the problem if you don't educate your affiliate on how to build a profitable

I recommend that you reward affiliates that reach out to you and take your wise counsel. Those that do not reach out to you in most cases they will not respond to anything that you do. Don't reward apathy! Following the golden rule for success in SFI - Work with the Workers. If you do this, you will be happy with the results you get from your affiliates.

Even so, you will still have affiliates that do nothing. That's not a reflection on you but just know that SFI is not for everyone.

I like to offer contests to my team. I offer both contests to PSA's and CSA's who earn EA2, BTL and above. I reward PSA reassignments to the winners. It is a great way to help them build their team more quickly. The better they do, the more I succeed!

I've found the Leadership page contests are best for getting inactive affiliates working and those who are actively working, motivated to grow their income even more. That being said, it's also good to use your genealogy tools to offer incentives for EA1's to become EA2.... and so forth. You can offer VP, PSA's and gift certificates which most like.

First off I would like to remind you that SFI recommeds you to spend most of your time "Working with your Workers". These are the people you want to concentrate the bulk of your time developing. Now as it pertains to inactive affiliates. There could be a plethera of reasons why they are inactive, from money, to just being a complete lazy pants. Most of the members who are not working the program, will never work the program, no matter how much you encourage.. However, I would send out some

Not necessarily in the order of their importance, the following are the kind of rewards that will move inactive affiliates to active status:
1.) Issuing gift certificates. This could be done by holding contest among your PSAs and CSAs. Whoever makes it first to attain EA status will get, say $10 to $20 gift certificate within, say, 2 weeks after the start of the contest.
2.) Issuing TCredits. These virtual cash could be used to join the Pricebender auction sales, could be used to sell

The most effective reward that motivated my downline is Gift Certificate. Rewarding them on their achievements occasionally with $2 to $10 gave excellent results.

The next encouraging reward giving good results are TCredits. Using these TCredits for buying and bidding at Pricebenders made them much active and motivated them a lot.

Quite honestly I used this technique to get inactive affiliates back in the game and I personally think it gives the wrong impression to give a person a reward or incentive for something they didn´t earn. But if this is the way you want to go then I would have to say without a doubt that gift certificates are the most effective rewards for getting inactive affiliates active.Using gift cerficates allows them to have a choice in how they can use it.The next best reward would be tcredits which could

For turning the inactive affiliates into active ones, first of all you must communicate to them and ask for their readiness to work and wait for their reply. Those who communicate back to you must be asked what kind of support they needed and then he/she must be rewarded accordingly.
You must take care you don't waste your resources behind a person who is not going to be active by any means, and if you do so you are cutting a share of the active affiliate which might prove useful to him/her.

Running the contest and deciding the rewards in such a way that almost all the affiliates can reach atleast the base level and get rewarded and considerably higher rewards for the top performer is the only way of getting inactive affiliates into active.
