For those in the US, I like to use USfreeads.com. They have free advertising as well as low paid advertising. For $6.99 a month you can have standing ads and these have been bringing in Tripleclick members for me.
You can spend HOURS googling and researching but it's still just a shot in the dark. Personally I feel the BEST way to find a good low cost site to work well with SFI is to ask your upline for recommendations. Also you can ask right here on the SFI forums and ask SC. My point being is that there are many successful people right here who have already know which advertizing sites work best for SFI.

The best way for you to do as much as possible, first, select on free websites, like herculist.com, twitter.com and Facebook, etc. If possible choose website without cost, and of course with huge members. So you can expect no. of signups. And later you may decide to have it cost otherwise website cannot benefit on your ads. Have pity on them too. God bless!

Go to google and search for PPC (pay per click) sites.You can select the the ones with the cheapest cost like $0.10 per click. There also free classified sites but they not so promising compared to the paid ads/ Classifieds sites. Try also to brand yourself on the net, for example you can start your own website about SFI, place banners ads, text ads etc on your site then draw traffic to that common site. There are so many ways you can brand yourself and get traffic, just give then=m a shot.
There are heaps of free/budget options. I would suggest tho that you use as many as you can find and use tracking codes so you can judge by results which ones to keep using ... AND ... be sure to pass on those sites that work to your downline ... their success is also your success.
