This is definitely a good question and one that many affiliates should be asking if they are not tracking their advertising. After all, how else will we understand which adverts are working effectively and which are not?

Essentially, the easiest way in my opinion is by using Key-codes on the gateways you use; e.g., .01, .02.....e.t.c. You could use .02 for the a particular social website and .02 for a paid classified spot perhaps. that way you know exactly which ad is most effective and

Halo there,
I have made up my own system!
I have like a logbook, writing down each day, when, where and how!
So, I can go back to a certain date and check which day of the week, I had the most response to my advertising!
I also write down which site I posted on, the good ones that work, I know I can reuse them!
The bad ones( the ones that I don't get response) I know not to waste time and money.
Hope this helps!

What I have done is to make my own domain so that I can use pretty links to show my own domain name and/description so that none of my sfi gateway links are rejects as spam by some submissions. I put my keycode in the link of the gateway and then my pretty link is just my domain name/description.
The pretty link allows traffic monitoring too.
As well as safelists and email double optin lists I submit to directory listings too.

To our success!

Good question.
In my own opinion, its quite easy to organise and track affiliates with SFI as its part of the power tools to monitor such features.
With that, we can put different codes at the end of our affilate links and advertise in different sites both free and paid. Assign different codes for these sites you are advertising to. Then you can check the hit tracker under power tools on SFI on a daily basis on or before sunday to actually know which of the advertising sites work better

Actually it isn't complicated. You can easily track your advertising on different sites, just click on the "Power tools" Tab and then clicking on "Key codes" you can put the key code at the end of your gateways. You can post them on classified and other sites, then just track and you'll see where are people looking at your sites and you will know the best, most efective places for your advertising.

Good luck!

Hello.

For tracking my adds I use an excel file, let’s say:

“used key in adds.xls”

It is organised by 4 columns and at least 100 rows.

The columns are:
Key code, State/Country, County, Town

Why 100 raws?

My thought was that probably will have at least 100 adds.

As a result, I will use some 3 digits key codes.

Every cell on the first column has an incremented value by 1 as the precedent for not keeping

SFI has an existing system that does this.
The "Hit Tracking" page on your Power Tools is an effective way to track your gateway hits.

Set key codes on each of the gateways you are using on your advertising. Just make sure you use only one key code on each advertising and you will be able to track which affiliate came from which advertising.

Hope this helps.

Hi! SFI provides you with the option to find out where the most people are coming from. For that, you use codes. You can find more about that here: https://www.sfimg.com/PowerTools/KeyCodeTracking

Knowing where your PSA are coming from, you'll be able to concentrate more on that part and increase the number of PSA as well.

Hello,

SFI does have a tracking system to where you can organize and track your advertising. It's in your "Power Tools" tab on the SFI Homepage. You can use that to your advantage in ways. When you start to have hits on your sites using those links with the trackers in them, you start to know more about which websites are more effective vs which websites aren't effective. It's only a matter of experiment and pick in this situation. Good luck with everything.

Hello,
The question is good, however I cannot say you yourself can set up a system to organize and track your advertising. It should be SFI the one who does this automatically and till now the only available possibility I know is represented by the key codes and it refers to tracking only.
You may place a different key code / figure you want after your Gateway for each site where you advertise and when someone registers, you may see the figure in the Genealogy and know that PSA's provenance.
However,
