Analyze your Team & categorize your members as follows:

1. How many of them were introduced by you?

2. How many of them are your Family Members?

3. How many of them are your close Friends & or colleagues?

4. How many of them are reassigned to you by your Sponsor?

5. How many of them come from your Country/Region, Local Area and speaking your
Own language?

6. How long they have been with SFI & how many of them are inactive/active?

7. Finally, how many of them are Strangers i.e. you won in auction or you bought from SFI, etc?

After splitting your team members in these categories, where ever possible, study the back ground of each member carefully.

Understand their family back ground, their buying habit, their monthly earnings, spending habits, family support, etc. Try to have dialog with them based on that. Share your experience and achievements.

Explain about SFI back ground and specifically about Gery, Rules of Success, Compensation Plan and the opportunities available. Make them read the Testimonials of others. Keep encouraging them regularly. At the same time, do not bombard them with frequent mails.

Keep your messages simple, short and easily readable without losing patience. Always ask them how you can help them so that they can move forward. Never talk about importance of having a Standing Order or buying products, etc. Instead show them how they can grow through Transfer Buying, introducing ECAs, etc.

Motivate them with offer of Free TCredits, Gift Certificates, etc. Share about Signing Bonus, Mile Stone shares, Fast Track Extension and the benefits associated with each of them.

In short, show lot of enthusiasm in all your communication, have dialog and never become impatient. Create more closeness with each of the promising members of your Team. More than a Sponsor, remain their trustworthy friend.

All these will, over a period of time, make them positive towards SFI & some of them will certainly become strong and active!

I'm assuming your team is fairly small as you refer to the team having a negative attitude.

If this is the case, then I would suggest you take a look at their profiles and see whether the problem is because they speak a different language. They may not know about the translator that's available on SFI. Send them a mail explaining where they can find it. If you have an affiliate who is active from the same country / area, reassign them to that person.

If it seems that it is not a language issue and your team is small, try and send each individual a personal email, ask them what it is they would like to see from you as a sponsor or what they are having difficulty with. Give them enough attention so they know you care about their success, but do not offer to do their work for them.

You may, on the other hand, have a larger team and the negativity you are referring to is that you have largely inactive members on your team. In this case, all of the team leaders find ourselves in similar situations. You may only have one or two active affiliates out of hundreds, this is quite normal. There is not much you can do other than keep sending friendly, upbeat messages out. My advice here would be to include all your team members in your mails, but focus your energy mostly on those who are actively trying to better their positions.

Hopefully some of your inactive affiliates will look at SFI again in the future and come back. I did!

This is an excellent question!

Is it possible that what you are perceiving to be a "negative attitude" may be actually be a silent cry for help? Thoughts such as: "I don't know what to do," or "Where do I go from here," that your team members may be having but NOT verbalizing to you would certainly leave you with your "negative attitude" impression.

Yes, I realize SFI provides us with all the information we need, but I also realize that not everyone is a self-starter or capable of self-motivation. Some people are going to need guidance, some are going to need encouragement, some perhaps just want to be acknowledged.

As a general rule, people are loathe to ask for help. It is far easier to do nothing (i.e. give off a "negative attitude") than to reach out and ask for help.

This is where the Leader part of Team Leader comes into play.
*Are you communicating regularly with your team? If so, how?
*Are you acknowledging achievements?
*Are you offering encouragement to reach goals?
*Are you providing "pep talks" when you see periods of inactivity?
*Are your team members aware you are there for them and willing to answer questions and provide guidance?
*Are you leading by example?
*Do you have a standing order?
*Are you actively selling TripleClicks products?
*Are you actively recruiting SFI affiliates?
*Do YOU have a positive attitude about SFI?

Your team members are learning from you. When you participate in playing Eager Zebra games, when you send a message about the item you won at a PriceBenders auction at SUCH a deal, when you blog about the fantastic ECA you just signed up...these are things your team members see that show you are not only serious about SFI, but can also have fun with what you do (and it also gives them examples of things to do other than their daily tasks).

By sharing your positive attitude with your team, and letting them know "we're in this together," you will hopefully get the results we are all eager to have. Good luck!!!

Thank you for your question, "My team has a negative attitude about SFI. How can I change it to a positive one?" The first step to finding a solution to this problem would be to find out why they have developed a negative attitude. Are they upset over the recent changes that SFI has made? I will admit that when I first heard about the new team leader requirements, I was upset. Then I sat down and gave serious thought to the reasons that I joined SFI in the first place. I wanted to earn money to improve my family's standard of living. That hasn't changed. SFI offered the best opportunity to make money. That hadn't changed either. I decided that what needed changing was my attitude. I realized that the changes were made to improve SFI and to place the focus back on duplication. It meant that I would have to work harder to achieve my goals but when I did achieve them, they would provide better results.
The next step that I would suggest is to check your attitude. Are you stressing the positive aspects of SFI to your team? Are you following the Rules of Success, especially no. 14? As team leader, it is your responsibility to offer encouragement and support to your team. You set the standard that you want your team to reach. Set the standard high. I am not suggesting that you gloss over real problems that team is experiencing but instead of letting them focus on the negative, work with them to find solutions.
I am proud to be an affiliate of SFI and I think that 2016 is going to be the best year yet. I believe the saying that whether you think you can or you think you can't, you are right. Encourage your team to believe that they can!

Attitudes is a major problem. It is something you can't force to change.

The only thing you can do, is to provide information, positive information. And then hope it is read and accepted. If it is, your head is thru. If not, you would still sit with the same old negative team. Keep sending positive messages every week. Hopefully it will sink in eventually...

The only other thing you can do, is to try and get a new positive team. Advertise with positive messages and try new resources. You should get the elusive diamonds if you look in the right places.

First of all, you can't built a solid dynamic team on a negative foundation. My first suggestion is to find a positive team. If you have to recruit a whole new team, do it. Don't wait for your team to become positive. Chances are they won't unless you are willing to leave them in the dust with their negativity. Remember, you are looking for five or so people with a positive attitude, and they probably came into the business with that as well.

Trying to argue with negative people, and convince them that this thing works will only pull you down. You attitude is the most valuable thing you have. Don't sacrifice it unnecessarily. Also, don't let your downline be a reflection of your own skepticism. It would probably do you some good to read the stories of some of the people who have built this business. They built it in a negative world, but didn't let that stop them. They looked for positive and found it.

In your team mails and other correspondence, make sure you keep everything light-hearted and upbeat in order to keep an optimistic tone in your writing. You can also write about the parts of SFI that are appealing to you. Personal testimony goes a long way so make sure you keep it personal and positive.

If you get a chance to address the issue individually, try to find out the source for the negativity. What is causing this attitude? Anything you can do to get feedback would be great. Perhaps, you could create some survey questions and make it fun by having a contest for those who participate.

All new affiliates that are new in online business always have the impression that its a get rich scheme and when they join, they expect the money to roll in. When they don't see such an advancement, they tend to have a negative attitude towards SFI.

As good Sponsors /Team Leaders, it is our duty to Lead by Example and motivate them. By so doing, we need to practice what we preach. We need to first find out why they have such negative vibes about the business and seek solution to their problems.

Taking the bulls by the horns, we can
1. Share with them Success Stories of Affiliates in the business.
2. Let them know that the benefits begin to roll when they maintain their EA2 rank.
3. Encourage them to participate in my team competitions where prizes can be won.
4. Encourage them to have a look at my Leadership page and see the badges displayed.
5. Letting them know that Tripleclicks is our online shop and that sales made by them, that a commission is given to them at the 10th of every month.
