To be a good leader is to know how to lead and to become an awesome sponsor to your team members and to do this requires:
1. Understanding your team members and assisting them equally. What do i Mean? For instance, Not all fingers are equal. This means there are some that are financially handicapped to get their SO or need more help than others and some are capable and some are more than capable.
2.To be a good Team Leader is to help and assist more those who are weak in your team giving them extra help if necessary till they are able to stand on their feet.
To those who are capable and strong, you assign more responsibilities to build their team by reassigning CSAs and PSAs to such.
To those who are more than capable, you invite them to the DD program to make them even more effective, stretching them further to build their SFI muscles, creating Successive Leaders in your team.
John C Maxwell said, 'Leaders Stretch In Challenges, Followers Shrink in Challenges and Quitters Die In Challenges.'
3. To be a good leader to your group is to teach the followers and quitters in your group to become Team Leaders like you for that is the whole purpose of SFI.

You will understand so many things.

1. Among all the Rules, I would sincerely suggest reading and understanding Rule No. 8 very

2. Lot of emphasis is put by Gery on Reading the latest information and up dates.

3. He is categorical that you will not succeed if you do not read them.

4. What are the things to be read on a daily basis?

a) Visiting Affiliate Center & reading the Latest News, Announcements, Stream Posts;

b) Visiting Forum to read the latest Threads & the Hot Topics;

c) Visiting various Web sites and or Blogs on Marketing & On Line Business. Through this you
can gain more knowledge about how to carry on with SFI Activities to next level continuously.

There are three areas that you should learn to be a good Team Leader of your group.

A. Learn to be a leader on KNOWLEDGE.

SFI has tons of information. It's not just enough to read them to be knowledgeable but you need to see the BIG picture of SFI business and able to connect every details that you read to that BIG picture.

The BIG picture are "The Streams of Income" that are available to us at SFI. Namely:

1. Commission from purchases of our PSA (45% of CV), PRM (45% of CV), CSA (15% of CV). - If these are our sources of income then we should learn how to find these affiliates and learn how to make them active.

2. Share from Executive Pool - Our share depends on the number of VP's we earn (Personal and Matching VP) - If this is a big source of income then we should learn how to get tons of VP.

3. Royalty from ECA - We get 10% of CV - If again this is a source of income then we should learn how to recruit ECA.

4. From the profits of the goods and services that we sell at TripleClicks - Therefore we should learn how to become an ECA ourselves.

5. From the sales of our Listing - therefore we should learn how to sell out old stuff.

6. From SFIPPA - You earn for significant action of the people you recruit for SFI.- Therefore you should learn how to recruit affiliates for SFI.

You observed that all our activities are related to these streams of income, so be knowledgeable on how to earn them.

B. Learn to be a leader in your ACTION.

It is not enough that you have knowledge and keep on telling your team to do them with in fact you are not doing them yourself. Always lead by example. Your ACTION is seen in your BADGES. A good leader of action must have at least 20 badges under his name.

C. Learn to be a leader in your STRATEGIES.

It's not enough to be doing things there should be a reason why you do those things. There must be a blueprint that you are following and that is your STRATEGIES. Example; what is your strategies in finding affiliates? Face to face? buying? winning them from auction? paid advertisement? Free ads? social media? we should learn all these strategies and do and teach them to your affiliates.

So learn to be a leader in Knowledge, Action and Strategies (KAS) to be a good Team Leader of your group.

Great question. My recommendations are the following:

1. Lead by example. Do not ask your team to do something that you are not already doing, have done or are willing to do.

2. As stated in the SFI Rules of Success ... work with the workers. Be there side by side helping them to build their team. Educate, mentor and help in any way that you can think of helping.

3. Find ways to add value to your team. Do not be ordinary ... be extra-ordinary!

4. Be a teacher and you will find that you also become an excellent student. Continually learn and then share.

5. Recognize achievements and accomplishments. Send e-mails, team mails, e-cards, etc. Let your team member know that you appreciate their hard work and acknowledge their achievements.

6. Keep the lines of communication open.

One way of learning to be a good Team Leader for your group could be by asking yourself questions. Ponder and wonder around these questions. There are not always immediate practical answers. Especially for leadership it takes time to let this drift from your head to your heart, and back.
Look at these questions, and look again. Write them down, make them part of your daily routine. The answers will come, you will grow, you will know.

- How good is my own Team Leader? How did I experience being lead by my upline?
- What did I learn from them? What did and didn't I like?
- What kind of Team Leader do or did I need?
- What kind of Team Leader do I think I am?
- What does my group, each individual, need? What kind of Team Leader do they want?
- What do I know that I already know?
- What talents can help me lead a team?
- What skills do I think I need to learn more about?

As a leader it can be important to live in the question. Answers can narrow the mind, narrow our vision. Living in the question means all possibilities are open and you are ready to receive.

Finally:

There are many attributes that make a good Team Leader.

When you receive a new team member, part of their beginning tasks is to visit their Sponsors Leadership page. Here they will be able to see what you do as a SFI member by the badges on your profile.

Show your dedication to your team by sending out good relevant information thru the team mail. While logged in, check on your team members. If you see something that they can improve on to better themselves, let them know. If they are gaining ground and becoming a mover, give them praise. If they ask for help, help them.

Recognition of your team members activities will go a long way. Do this by using the E-cards and posting in the Success portion of the Forum. Also give them mention in your Stream for all of your team to see that your team member is becoming a successful business man/woman.

If you are doing all of the above, then it is up to your team member to continue their success. The above ideas are not a sure fire guarantee that your team members will stay active. However, if you are giving an honest effort, then you are doing your job being a Good Team Leader.

In additions to the above you need to be an example for your PSAs and CSAs. In order to achieve this you need to:

a) Have a Standing Order of 1500 VPs or more.

b) Just after recruiting an affiliate, send him/her a welcome message.

c) Award him/her with 10 TCredits to start playing EZ Games, take part in bidding etc.

d) Award them few TC Certificates to boost their SFI business or to get them on fast track.

e) Show them the importance of having a Standing Order.

f) Treat your PSAs and CSAs alike. Because your future depends upon the future of your team of PSAs and CSAs.

g) Always keep the channels of communications open through PMs, emails, e-cards etc.

h) Always be ready to answer all their queries/doubts and questions. In other words follow the instructions given in ‘Be an awesome sponsor’.

Try not to lose your own motivation when some team members don't respond. Just like any other business, it happens. Not all people are meant to be leaders or entrepreneurs.
