Seeing as SFI is an online business and you make money working from HOME I don't believe that there is a need to retirement, when you are making or have made enough money to be able to live off of for the rest of your life that is when you can retire.

Even if/when you make enough money to provide for the rest of your life what about your next generation of offspring lives? And the generation after that? And the generation after that and so on? See the way I look at it you will always

I don't see the point in "retiring from SFI." It's an essentially-free source of additional income. If you've decided you want to stop promoting, and you want to keep making commissions, do that. Personally, I would only consider doing that when I have enough money to pay for everything I want to do for the rest of my life. Otherwise, congratulations, you get to struggle to pay for food, clothing, and shelter with no money.

Instead, let SFI become an additional retirement

For me, I would have to answer your question with another question: why would you want to retire from SFI. If you won the Euro millions maybe you would consider it, but having a hobby would still be good to keep your mind active.

As many people have seen it can make anyone extra income from anywhere in the world if they have time and perseverance, and we all strive to be better don't we, and depending on the effort you put in, depends on the amount you can make.

So, I would

Great question Maria, and I guess you mean retiring from your salaried employment to focus on SFI.
The time to start preparing for your retirement is NOW.
The day to start preparing for your retirement is TODAY.
The way and manner to start is to be steady and focused more on the success strategies given by SFI.
Review your red tabs unfailingly daily.
Read up the numerous lessons and tips that abound in SFI.
Ensure you have a Standing Order that gives you 1500VP minimum

That is quite an interesting question and also a good one. One thinks of retirement from venture on the following reasons;

1. They have worked for such a time and now want to have a break.
2. Due to health reasons or matters beyond one's control, they quit job.
3. When there is a statutory requirement that you retire at a given age or time.
4. They have got better paying venture or to start own business.

SFI is a business of both fun and leisure. You

An intruguing question you have here. SFI is structured in such a way to make it a home business you retire into. You retire from other full time employments and jobs to take up SFI so there is hardly a question of retiring from SFI. You build the business and hope your children can take over and continue building it. Another way to look at it is from the perspective of extra income stream which augments your regular income. So you can only retire when your income becomes too much for you!

SFI

You could retire if you are making enough money elsewhere that you no longer need SFI.

In my opinion there is no retirement, SFI can go on for as long as there are peole marketing it and making it the place it is.

If you don't want to belong anymore you could pass on your business to a relative that could do with the extra cash from your business.

In the long run we all want to leave something for our children, (if we have them) and so you could leave them your business.

Start preparing as early as possible. Personally, I'd say start preparing...yesterday. The reason I say this is because you never know when the inevitable can happen. Most of us financially live in the now without a care about what will happen in the future, much like instant gratification. And because of fulfilling that quick-fix desire at that second, we often regret spending that piece of change on that new shirt, this new food, or whatever new trinket we so badly had to buy.

So

Interesting question

I guess it will depend on how strong you are financially. If you decide to retire from SFI today and you live another 20 years - would the money you have right now carry you through? Would you be able to live the lifestyle you live now or better?

Another question I would ask - what do you plan to do with your time after you retire? Will you have a full busy life? If you are sorted financially and with a full life of whatever you enjoy you can decide
