"Should a person go for the rank of Team Leader if they don't yet have a team?"

I did this when I first joined and then struggled to maintain the level after the first few months. I don't think this is a good idea as it costs money to maintain and there is no benefit if your team is inactive or non-existent.

My suggestion is to wait until you have enough regular EA2s in your team so that you benefit from matching VP. You can gauge when that is by studying your scoreboard

Being team leader is very important. I'd say if you go team leader your first two months, go for EA2 and BTL (TL2) your first and 2nd month.

Your first month become EA than BTL. Your Second month become EA2 (EA 2nd month qulififying then TL2 (BTL 2nd Month qualifying.

1st Month

Gain 1500 SVPs and/or PVPs and 1000 in AVPs become EA

Gain 2000 SVPs and/or PVPs and 1000 in AVPs become BTL

2nd Month :: Maintain EA and BTL to become EA2 and

The answer to your question varies from each person financial capacity and dedication.
One can advance to Team Leader rank easily by investing money and working full time. But it is hard to maintain the rank and you can easily fall out from it.
On the other hand you may opt to wait, until you have a strong team at least 2 or 3 PSA/CSA on hand that are eager and very active in achieving their goals with this your burden in maintaining your rank will be lesser because you have a team that

Hello Waleed,

This is a great question. You're going to get all kinds of different answers.

My answer will be brief and to the point. NO, you should not become a "Team Leader" if you don't have a team.

Why? Because, as the title suggests, you will be a "TEAM" Leader. Not just a leader, not just an affiliate, not even an Executive Affiliate. You would be a TEAM LEADER. And without a team, only the title, in essence you're lying to your recruits.

Many

Hello Waleed,

If the person has a first level Team of EA2s and the Second level Team of EA2s then investing in becoming a team leader will become worth. One gets matching versa points after being a team leader.

Additional benefit of Team leader status is share of second home CSAs. Here there is a double benefit. You get chance of earning commissions on purchases from CSAs and Versa point matching of EA2 CSAs.

It all depends on person to person how one looks at this

Go for the rank of Team Leader with no team? Sure.
The banners will look good on your home page and JMT website.

Personally I would get the 1500 v.p. and ask my sponsor
for a couple of referrals.

Between SFI and your sponsor, they will take care of any referrals you receive.
Team Leader EA2-gets you some CSA"s.You need them to succeed.

As a team leader you can post in Stream every 3 days and send group mailings for
credits.

A person should go for the rank of Team Leader as a natural part of exploring SFI; I personally attained the role of Bronze Team Leader before I had a single active affiliate. It rewarded me quickly by providing me a share of CSAs with whom I could practice communicating, and that made my skills stronger, so that I knew how to better contact my first PSAs. I am glad things happened in that order.

I believe that with SFI you don't need a team first before being a Team Leader. SFI trains you by having you dive in the deep end of the pool and then watch how you manage. You have your csa and psa mailers to get any advisories to the team, even a team of one. The whole idea of being a team leader without a team you have help from the forum, from your uplines, from the articles that are read. You are never alone in SFI so just ask a question and you will receive an answer by thousands of persons.

Should a person go for the rank of Team Leader if they do not yet have a team? Go boldly forward and grab "the bull by the horns!"
1. If you have your own business and you are ready to invest money - you have to be a leader! Show and advertise your business.
2. If you rely only on your hard work and desire to master the business knowledge and skills they need to wait to form a team!
In both cases, you get powerful support of their mentors

As I can read many answers on this question suggest to not to go for a TM status until you have a team. But I do not see WHY NOT to go for that status immediately after signing up and maintaining it for at least 3 months. That gives you two of the greatest advantages right on start, and you should use it to build your business:

1.) As you may already know you got package of CSAs when you
