Recruiting new affiliates via social media poses certain challenges in that, for the most part, you're generally targetting friends and relatives during leisure time. Your better options are to search interest groups, talk about what you're doing, and getting people interested. From there, the rest is going to depend on particular sites; most have ways to search on "likes," interests, and various other related information.

From there, you're going to elicit members' values: what they want, what they like, and what they're willing to do to get either of the first two. Some won't be ready to be affiliates. Focus on those who are. Make it clear that SFI takes months, if not years, to produce sustainable success, but once you have that success, you retain it month after month. A lot of people come in here thinking that by the end of the first month, think they're headed directly toward a Six Figure Income, and that's unreasonable. Paint realistic goals, and those that do sign up will be much more likely to stick it out.

For Facebook the best free method would be to join groups where people are specifically interested in home business / internet and affiliate marketing. Post to these groups a few times a week (don't spam) using the short ads & pictures supplied by SFI. You may have to use a redirect url as Facebook won't allow SFI links.

On your new JMT Gateway, you can pin to Pinterest (look right at the bottom underneath "Powered by SFI). Although those are Eager Zebra Games, TripleClicks & PriceBenders, you can add a link to each of those as well as your JMT Gateway when you pin.

The nice thing about Pinterest is that those pins are around for a very long time unlike FB, where your posts disappear very quickly amongst the 1000s of other posts.

Social media with its vastness and far reaching effect can be a very useful tool when it comes to recruiting new affiliates. When doing so one must keep in mind the 5 Ps of The Social Marketing Mix. And they are; People, Place, Participation, Purpose and Promotion.

People (target audience) With that we are talking, our target audience will be people who are interested in online marketing, and are the perfect fit for our specific business unit.

Place (search method) our search points should be either in person or our online website. Which of these methods will have a greater impact? The online search, when we are looking for customers to purchase products after being directed from other platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, or from a community blog to your landing page/blog, the online method will prove to be conveniently effective. Direct marketing is only good for big ticket items, such as industrial equipment.

Participation – with this we are talking the social objective of engaging the affiliate after sign-ups, have that extra something such as how to use the translator for those who are not fluent in your native language. Plan how you will engage the would-be affiliate via webinars, in person, or on the net, and some of this can be done with our crowning jewel, the YouTube presentation. I think the best way to recruit new affiliates through social networks granting of paid ads on Facebook. Today, since there are a large number of tutorials on You tube, it is not a problem to do so. Also, you can open your fan page and regularly renew it.
Even if you don’t do none of these things, you can give advertisements in various Facebook groups. A good idea is that to post regularly post on the SFI company at your personal account. You should accept friend requests, you develop your business, and in that way, a large number of people can see your posts (you can always block someone who is unpleasant - this is one of the advantages of the Internet)
My advice is to activate yourself on Twitter. Occasionally you publish your post. Do not forget - the more people or companies follow more people will follow you too.
And never, never give up.

It has become quite an easy task to recruit new affiliates into SFI umbrella utilising various social media sites because one is only a friend or a friend's friend and the chain goes on, which gives something like a personal touch or works like word of mouth. It is purely or absolutely true because of such a things that exists, all the sensational news or information or gossips go viral within a few hours and wide and far, through this world-wide web across globally.

What one has to do is to properly plan the entire advertising or marketing campaign structure and decide upon the most favorable and impressive methodology, tools and techniques that are required to be adopted for such social media campaign.

The best social media site people are promoting on is Facebook. Millions are logging on Facebook daily, through out the day! I advertise on this site daily and gain at least one affiliate a day.

The best method I use is copy and paste. That way I can advertise in multiple groups. The more people that see your link, the better. But be careful how many times you promote on this site. You do not want to end up in Facebook jail. Facebook will think you are spam and block you. You will not be allowed to post for about three weeks ( or less )

I would suggest having more than one account. That way you can post and not get blocked. I opened up two accounts and have not been blocked since.

This is a tricky area to recruit because of the rules they have against free advertising. The best way to recruit new affiliates is to post status updates about the business without providing links so you avoid being flagged as spam. The "Share-it" buttons that appear on your "Alerts" page is a great place to start. You could post something like "I'm spending some time this morning with my online business so I can make sure I stay on top of the sales coming in this week." That should catch somebody's eye because you are making sales with your online business and you didn't mention a company's name so social media does not flag it as spam. At that point, you could leave in your comments something like "Message me if you are interested in finding out what I do with my online business that is different from all of the other opportunities out there." This is how you can avoid being flagged as spam while giving enough information to catch people's eyes for business opportunities.
