Personally I used my blog, and now I'm trying to use the SFI Gateway. Which approach will provide better results that we can check out practice and work. My opinion is that we should use both ways of advertising. first method of advertising used at the beginning of their work and when we have a little experience with advertising, this way slows us rapid progress since it requires a lot of time, work and effort to get it set quality-Use SFI Gateway is much simpler and easier to advertise ..

After spending a few months with sfi and browsing its links you get to know that where sfi has weak points due to which most people quit and few remain. At your own links and blogs you can properly explain the gateways owing to your experience and interpretation. Initially it is hard for some new comers to know the hidden benifit in growing alongwith sfi, so in your own blogs and links you can clear the doubts of prospects and motivate them accordingly. Those moments that compelled you to leave sfi are best known to you , pick them up and clearify them at your blogs than see the results . Difference will certainly be there.

Hallo Sasa. I use my blog, my personal web side, my mails to advertise my SFI business because I don´t know where and who will read them. I write a newsleter ones a week in my web/blog and send it every where I am linked like Twitter, Facebook, Xing, Myspace etc. It is not a guarantie that it works but it is advisable to use every posibilty to advertise your business. The best way is always direct contacts ofcourse but we have first to find them.
I think you should have both solutions for different kind of future affiliates. Some people, like myself want to know a lot about some program before they start to work and for them it is better to see your webpage or blog and get more informations there. For other group, which go and see what will be or have more experience in affiliate programs SFI Gateway is better.
in my opinion you should use the gateway if you focus on getting lots of signups..
If your focus is more on quality in stead of quantity then you should use your blog BUT:
That DOES depend on what is on your blog.. Sometimes people tend to write TO much on their blog and scare of potential PSAs that way..
Webpage/blog can be use as your ads link for information and reading purposes. However,
the best approach in ads link should be in your SFI Gateway. This is to minimize the time reading your webpage/blog.Because in advertisement it is necessary that you should limit the information just enough to encourage your prospects to sign-up.
Use one ad per webpage, blog and use a few SFI gateways. That's how I operate. It keeps my readers guessing for what they will find at the end of the click of the link. That way they will come back if only just to see what something else they can come up with!
I like to have a variety of inspiration, sharing my life and how I handle it, and sharing the business for my ads. It will keep them guessing and it won't be repetitious for them.
