Your first customer might be your next door neighbor or just close friend / family member. It is also easier to spread news locally, through Local Newspaper, for instance, or local Radio Station?? Even community events (sports & leisure) are good exposure opportunities...
Volume resides in the International community and I am sure we all concentrate there, and you should, but I am just saying we tend to forget VERY GOOD business opportunity right on our doorstep....makes sense?

Personally I think you should not restrict yourself to one of these methods.
Why?
Because quite simply, everything is good to grow your business. Whether locally, around you etc .. Or via the web.
Note that the web is a incoryable tool for affiliate work! With that, you have the opportunity to reach many more people than you ever would have hoped.
Your loved ones will certainly help grow your business through the method of "word-of-mouth", which is not insignificant!
Then using the method via the internet, as I have said, will multiply your chances of promoting your SFI to many people.

Never enough of advertising.Me personaly i like internet advertising better because you can reach more people in a shorter period of time but offcourse the bad thing about it is that those people will most likely just ignore your posts and think oh that just another of those online liars.So when you advertise online its important that you do it right.
When it comes to local advertising thats where you will get less people but those people who see it will more likely to join SFI and keep working.But i guess most important thing is how you advertise,you need to say what people want to hear. take care

In my experience both are equally good. Maybe it might be better to consider which comes first. To me that is via the Internet, globally. Learn everything there is to learn about your business at SFI and while doing that you will start to advertise all over the Internet. When you know it all, whenever that is possible, you will become a teamleader and mail your fellowworkers. By that time you have enough storytelling in your heart and mind to talk about it locally.
So, both are good, in my opinion, it is just the timing that makes them different.

Local promotion is perhaps better at the beginning of labor, to find members and learn how to work.Later, when the technique is mastered, advertising and promotion, go to global level.It is very important to target countries according to the purchasing power of TripleClicks although there are no strictly rules.My PSA's have been advised to initially start at the local level with the construction of SFI team and then to focus on other aspects of the network expansion, sales and promotion of ECA in the world.

Nonetheless, I would venture to say, based on my on line and home business experiences thus
far, promoting SFI and TripleClicks locally and more personally is far more effective than
globally. There is nothing like the "personal touch", keeping things "up close and personal" as much as possible. We All Need That. On the other hand, unless You have very
targeted traffic, SEO, and otherwise, Your global efforts are more likely to be far less successful than Your efforts of a personal nature. "That's my story and I'm sticking to it"!
