I would put a time frame on the meeting and try to stick to that. If the meeting is from 6 - 8 pm, be sure to end as close to 8 as possible.

In the first meeting, you could have just a general agenda - any subsequent meetings, you could have a more structured approach.

I would start by thanking everyone for attending and let everyone know how much you appreciate their time and effort to get to know one another.

Go around the room and have each person introduce themselves and give some general information, such as how long they have been a member of SFI, a little something about themselves and what their visions and goals are.

I would have a computer on hand to be able to log into SFI. This may stir up a Question & Answer session, which everyone can always benefit from.

You could have just a plain old 'brainstorming' session. You will be amazed at the different ideas and suggestions that come up.

If you plan to have these meetings on a regular basis, be sure that you - or someone - take notes and publish minutes or a summary of the meeting, back to everyone that was in attendance. This will help keep ideas fresh in your mind and help build thoughts for the next meeting.

If the question is correct then I would like to know the following:-

1. What is the purpose of this meeting?

2. Do you just want to meet your A2A friends to know them better?

3) Do you want to learn from them by hearing their experience?

4) Do you want to exchange success stories?

5) Do you want to know how to move forward? How to take care of the Team Members? How
to inspire them?

6) Do you want to understand how to grow further with the Team with least cost?

If these are some of the major questions you want to discuss, understand, exchange and put them into action in your local area then please prepare the agenda accordingly.

Thoroughly discuss with your Local Team Members, take their inputs, suggestions, questions, consolidate them with your own inputs/ideas and send them to your A2A friends in time duly seeking their suggestions for improvement including modifications, if any.

Please plan everything by visiting the minutest detail of every point and have a Final plan which should be clear on all aspects like:

1. Date, Time and Duration;
2. Venue;
3. Level of participation - for members and or for members & public;
4. Number of participants;
5. Topics - based on consolidated points already discussed;
6. Who will discuss which topic;
7. Select success stories;
8. Question and Answer session
9. Fun time - Playing EZ Games on a major screen involving the audience;


Covering all the above, please make a detailed Program List & circulate it to Leaders concerned well in advance.

If possible, please prepare a detailed Book covering all the Topics. At the end of the end of the Meeting this can be issued to the participants.

Most Important:

Please discuss all costs involved in conducting an event of this sort. Take the opinion of people concerned. Involve them in the final decision. Need be, collect the amount thus accepted, in advance from participants. No profit motive please.

At the end of the day, every one should leave the place with lot of business promotion ides in mind and happiness in heart by attending the meeting. There should not be any cause of worry to any one. Please pray, plan and ensure the safety of every participant.

I have only been in the business four months so far, but I have accumulated 80 - A2A contacts so far. In the beginning I was thinking of collecting SFI contacts from Northern Thailand, but now most of my A2A contacts are from other countries, so getting them all together is not feasible.

What I had in mind earlier was to get all the active ESAs from this area together at some point sort of like what you are talking about. There are so many arts and crafts from this area that could do well if marketed through TripleClicks. My thinking was that it could be really valuable to trade notes on what works when marketing local products. My thinking is that TripleClicks is going to grow into a place known for being able to buy and sell local products at very reasonable prices, possibly having an online country fair from a given country to group market products of that country. Let's say Mexico, say for one month, all Mexican ECAs would be highlighted, and then next month another country.

If you were able to get a bunch of local A2As together, I think it would be really cool to have a Platinum Team Leader to speak. I think the purpose of the get together should be to have fun, though, and not too much serious stuff. One possibility I like would be to have it oriented to the Eager Zebra games, especially group participation in the Trivia games. You could also have people who have been successful at each of the games talking about strategies they use. That is something that everyone could possibly benefit from, and probably would result in increased game playing on the part of all attendees.

I think you should keep in mind what you intend to accomplish to make sure it benefits all who attend, whether they are in the business or not, or whether they are cross line or not. You should realize that it could turn negative if you are not careful. You don't want two cross-line affiliates battling for a single new PSA, and you don't want anyone putting down another line of sponsorship. That just wouldn't be healthy for the business as a whole.

congrats on such innovation to enhance your business. to be able to get a very successful meeting, you need to put the following in place:
1. The venue of the meeting must be a standard one with adequate comfortability that won't cost you too much, but which is essential for brain storming
2. consider the topics to be discussed: Topics that most have challenges with must be included and discussed. Those who have had experiences and of higher in the business should of great help there
3. room for free expression of speech. try and create a conducive atmosphere by which every one can operate. in fact, humour will be an asset that can generate total relaxation
4. Experiences on the field should be shared, so that everyone can learn from its successes and mistakes as well
5.There should be a time of questions and answers, where everyone brainstorms, which is SFI primary purpose of the A2A program
6.Identify your main purpose of gathering and what you want achieved in the end. this has to do with planning of goals and programs for the meeting
7. consider the time frame,. how many hours do you intend to put into the meeting and a note, kindly go by that time frame. you must understand it is not the length of the meeting but how well your audience listened enough to you to the end. your time frame is based on the sitting power of your a2a friends.
if there are already feeling uneasy on their chairs, your meeting is as good as over even though tyhe meeting is still on
8. Establish a co-op if necessary that can help the gathering
9. establish also Executives that will guide and run the eventuality of the meeting, not forgetting to HAVE A NAME for your gathering. what name would you like to give it? Let the name be centered on the purpose of the meeting since you are the convener.
10. create a chart or memorandum that will aid future gatherings once this one is a success.
11. You need to create a minute note in the memorandum
lastly, create a refreshment that will nourish those present after a time of meeting.
They will want to come again and that way you have been able to build a formidable team of A2A friends

I have just one.
The biggest problem affiliates have is how and where to promote.
I suggest being prepared to discuss and share promotional ideas,
advertising skills and source materials.
It may help to have a list of all the items you intend to cover.

For general meeting points, I suggest:
1.Open meeting outlining an agenda.
2.Follow your agenda, straying will cause you to loose focus.
3.Set a time limit to allow yourself the option of closing long
discussions on one topic.
4.Encourage feedback and comments. Possible pass out a small
questionnaire to help you set up the next meeting.
(this could be done in advance of the meeting, as well)
5.Always end meeting with a brief summary and thank you to
the participates.

Hi Jeffrey,

Your question has two sides: Will it be a get-together, something that is informal and upbeat, or will it be a stiff and maybe boring meeting?

Personally, I would plan for and choose to attend a cheery get-together at a nice but informal restaurant like a great buffet (all-you-can-eat) which should please everyone. Ask in advance, have each affiliate respond, make a reservation. Use the time during dinner to know each other and just have fun.

During i.e. coffee after dinner you can discuss SFI. Go around the table and allow each person one minute (based on a group of 12) to talk about anything SFI. Allow maybe another 15-20 minutes (30 if they won't throw you out of the restaurant) for discussion.

In the end all of you should have your stomachs full and your hearts and minds fed, too.

1. what is the purpose of your gathering?
2.what is the agenda of memorandum that you have done?
3. what is the time management you have put in place?
4. what are the topics you want discussed? i believe the topics to be discussed should center on the pressing challenges everybody is facing. what is the use of a meeting that is not problem solving?
5. There must be a forum of questions and answers and experiences shared from those present.
6. there must be mutual freedom of expression
7. Those who have better experiences and are leaders in SFI should be given freedom to help and to give a position of leadership even though you brought the gathering together. This singular action can boost your gathering to a larger capacity.
8 Depending on your timing frame, since its a gathering, let a small snacks be offered to boost the meeting and enrich the listening heart of your audience
9. Let the gathering have 'Board of Leaders' by which the gathering is going to grow especially if you want continuity and let each position be rotated
10 A co-op can be opened for the gathering where everybody becomes a participator and money is contributed against next meeting.
11. In the Board of Leaders or Executives, let the minute of the gathering be taken so as to know where you are in your discussion and your next line of action. A secretary should be nominated to handle this.

I think I would first survey the A2A friends that have been invited or have indicated an interest in coming, and ask what they would like to see discussed. Those questions then would form the structure of the get-together.

I think I would spend some time on marketing: what kind of marketing to do, what kind is producing results at this time, and writing copy and headlines. Public relations, offline advertising (flyers, postcards, newspaper classifieds, radio, and community media) could be considered.

I would plan time near the end, for a Q & A period. All this discussion will lead to other questions that could be taken then.

Remember to have fun, too. We learn best when having fun.

I would suggest name tags for the first meeting, after that everybody will be familiar enough with the others that they won't mind asking someone's name that they may have forgotten in the meantime.

A light meal of some kind, whether finger food or something more. No business yet.

After eating, everyone will be more relaxed, then would be the time to bring up a few questions, wonders, situations, whatever, that have come up in your time with SFI. Ask how they would deal with these. Ask if anyone else has run into out of the ordinary things that they would like some advice on.

If you are the one who initiated the get-together, be the good host/hostess and start the conversation with the group, and follow wherever it goes! Brainstorming is an excellent way to get new ideas on old subjects as well as new!!

Have a Group wise discussion like in each area one Create a Group and find out best and share in SFI Forum.
Example you may design group as per no. of participants.
1) Eager Zebra - Team - They will find how to win and its procedure.
2) Forum - Collect best topic and prepare e-document and share in Forum.
3) ASK SC - Collect and compile and prepare e-document and share in forum.
4) Auction BID - How to participate and win concept.
5) PTP - How to prediction of BID value.

Finally open discussion with all group members and finding place in forum.
