You should be inform them what the position of Team Leader entails in regards to responsibilities, benefits, and retention requirements. This includes how much are the willing to consistently spend to obtain the sufficient Sales VPs until they can produce sufficient Action VPs to maintain the position. As a Team Leader they will be awarded CSAs monthly which may or may not be an adequate reward for their ambition after several months. If you discourage your PSAs they may take that as a lack of confidence

Hallo !
Question is for great discussion.
I think they should always be encouraged, but you need to explain them in details what it means to be a Team Leader.
The most important thing is that the Team Leader should have members who work.
People are different and have different views.
If someone has and wants to spend money it's his thing...BTL without members?
It is most difficult to explain and for understanding for some people.
Again, try to explain them

Well,it depends on the afilliates choice, first of all ask him/she why did he/she wants to become team leader immediately, ask him/her whether he has up to 10 active Psas
Remind him/her that there is no need for been a team leader,if you have no team to lead.
Remind him/her that if he/she did not having a team and became a team leader that he/she will spend more to maintain the status.
Tell him/her that it is more better for him to start with Executive affiliate and then build a team.
Never

Well, I am new in SFI but I think that discourage is not a good option.
We are all different and maybe some of us have more courage to take some risks or invest in businnes.

Maybe it's better to be with them and encourage them, show them all yours »little secrets« and of course explain that there is solution that they become a team leader without results at the beginning.

I wish you all the best!

This question needs a refined answer. PSAs are considered to be an asset. However once they are registered some of them find that the opportunities before them is a daunting task even to obtain 1,500VPs from the second month after been Fast Track.. Some of them question the sponsor on the difficulty to retain their Executive Affiliate level from the second month. So while the Sponsor gives encouraging ways to become an Executive Affiliate some of them who have this mentality should be discouraged

My answer is simple:
It is pointless to be the leader of the team that does not exist.
Without a large and strong team behind you, there is no point in becoming a team leader. It's like you're trying to become the commander of a nonexistent army.
Wanting to become a team leader makes sense, just when you build a large and strong team.
The name says TEAM Leader, which means a group of people.
I hope that my answer was short, clear and precise.
Best of luck in your future

Hi Mary, Please encourage them as much as you can. Never you think of discouraging them.

It is however very important that along the line, you get them grounded on the principles of duplication and let them know that duplication is the master-key to success in SFI.

Let them also be aware of the responsibilities of a Team leader and try to conform.
They will rock and as a result you will rock too.

To me it seems that SFI and TripleClicks is a business of your own and to grow as much as possible.
If any of my PSA'S want to advance I don't want to get in the way of their advancement.I myself will support any advancement that they can do and I think everyone should feel this way.
We are not in a contest to see who gets there first, we are in business to do our best and if that means becoming a team leader, whether I am a team leader or not I am all for it.

As a ROLE Model it's your duty to encourage your whoever is looking at you as his or her LEADER.

It's like a child. If you look closely at a child, you will find out that, that poor child will want to follow what you do to grow.
So when he or she is satisfied and knows that he or she has the gut to lead, let it be as long as you are there to guide.

So I think it best to encourage those PSAs.
It's good to experience and become somebody.

That is entirely up to you however my personal opinion would not to encourage the new PSA's to become Team Leaders right away. It is quiet easy in the start for a PSA to achieve this and than in the following months they will find it hard to continue to keep this status up. However the PSA's who are committed will try and achieve this continuously even if it is hard to try and maintain the Team Leader level.
