The best way does not quite exist, but you can still try to estimate one product's final result by checking for how much it went last time, or the time before, and so on and so on...Then you might get an idea of how much the product values.
Calculations are partly helping, but the biggest factor in this game will always be luck.
So, a bit of CALCULATION plus LUCK equals VICTORY.

This is a great question.
I am new to SFI as well. I did check the Tips on the Pick the Price, read it time and again and also looked up the Latest Winners Page and you know what I have never won it before and am still trying. The winner is based on auctions. Here again you have different types of auctions, Double MRP, Winner Bids free so all I can say is, this is a game of chance where you do have tips but end of the day its how lucky you are! Just keep playing till you get a hold of it! Assure you success will be sweet and till then keep trying. Best of LUCK.

the Pick The Price game and those are :
real value of product
type of auction *is it Big Dog , Junior ,1WA ,auto-bidder allowed or not ... *
and of course if you are in this job more than few days you have already followed
some of auctions and you have noticed by which price usually goes which product
or sometimes just believe to your instinct

Best way to predict final ptp
Many of them adapt different strategies. What I personally do is look in to the prices of latest winnings.
Select the price that is repeated or won more times.
You can fix inbetween price of the most winnings and set the PTP. you are more likely to get the PTP.
It is based purely on luck. So get a PTP and you will see your self understanding your own idea.
I think the best way to win PICK THE PRICE is to be lucky. It is still a crucial factor. Be sure to perform the analysis, follow past history of a particular product, compare the time the auction was held, the type of auction, observe the very beginning of auction but still need luck because too many unpredictable factors is included in the auction.
Predict meaning guess or foretell.So Pick The Price game means guess the nearest or closest price.
Base on the history and study the flow of an individual item you are able to roughly guess and predict the final price. It also depends on luck!
So study carefully the flow, time, date,etc and start predicting the final price.

I would say its a definite guess in determining Pick the Price, as at any given time, we never can really know who will bid, and what the exact price of the end bid will be,
You can refer to the recent winners list, or price history of the related listed products in also assisting with your guess.

There is no best way to predict the final price in Pick The Price..
All we can do is look at the items previously payed amounts and then make a well educated guess..
If there was a way to predict on forehand then we would be playing at the horse tracks I would think ;)
All we can do is to take a look at the history from any product you want to set a bid for and work from there..

I think that the best way to pick the final price is by deciding on the product you wish to bid on, go to the price history of the product, compare the previous prices, make your plus or minus, then predict what you think it would be.
Picking the price is a thing of favour. Once you are favoured, you will be the lucky winner.

In my opinion there is no best way to predict the final price. It is a matter of experience and luck. It depends on the time of day or night, from the types of products, types of auctions, and etc. It takes some time to get strategy. See previous auctions for that product and how they ended. Then you should analyze and try to pick the price.
