I would say Yes and No.(from experience) For the first 6 months do not involve your family and friends. Therefore promote SFI to strangers via advertising etc. It is always difficult to convince your family and friends to participate in a business if you have not proved the success thereof. After you have concrete proof that the system is working for you and you can show a profit, you have every reason to passionately involve your family and friends
It should therefore be challenge for you to go that extra mile to proof to your family and friends that SFI is working for you.

Spread the news to every body as much as you can to who ever that comes your way.
Every body any body could be a gold mine, don't limit yourself to only your inner cycle, just look outside the box. over the wall, and beyond your locality.
Spread the gospel, spread your net. you wouldn't know what potentials you might draw into your team.

In my opinion, it is best to start SFI you introduce it to your friends and family.
Because they are someone who you trust and who will easily get into this business and deal with it seriously, because of course you would not have lied and presented something that was a lie. Is not it?
Only among them could you find at least 5 people who would be your active PSA.
And of course it is better to do with people who are close to you and you can explain how it actually works in SFI than strangers with whom you have to be constantly texting.
Strangers should be in second plan, but of course just as important for this work as well as friends and family, and do not you neglect them, and you not neglect advertising away from frends and families.

There is no better or best way every way is the best way, in SFI Business promotion is important so every one need to know about it. Family, friends and strangers,
It is just sort of 'luck' that plays a part here. You never know who will accept or reject.
It is just a matter of finding the right people and the right time to talk to the potential customer and affiliates. You would not know who will accept or reject the idea of having a SFI Business. People have their own choices.
Promote your business is the key to success. Keep an eye for a potential customer.

When it comes to promotion or marketing we should not l,mit it to certain group/s of person because advertising are meant to attract/gain customers, patronizers. But to choose better between the two (warm market and strangers), I'll surely choose the first one due to the following reasons;
- you can discuss it with in casual manner during usual gathering/get together.
- you can gather or invite them for team/one on one orientation/tutorials.
- you can easily visit or contact them to assist, coach/mentor them if needed.
- you can personally ask/know their circumstances if they get inactive.
- you can easily assess and give appropriate help/assistance because you personally know his/her capabilities.

In short, promoting SFI and TripleClicks to your family, relatives and friends are more comfortable and has higher possibility of having ACTIVE affiliates that will duplicate or grow your team.

"Is it better to promote SFI to friends and family...or to strangers?"


There was a time I would have said friends and family, and there was another time I would have said strangers, now however it really makes no difference if neither are looking. So do not categorize, listen to what they tell you they want and if its some thing you can give them just do it.

Read that again wait for them to tell you they need what you can currently provide them be it SFI or something you can supply them from triple click and in the mean time follow your up line to the letter.

Do what works for them and let SFI take you to were you want to go. You are doing the tasks because you see it work so promote SFI to friends and family by using triple clicks online shopping AND promote to strangers what you bought your family on that special day or what you use in the house for you own use. No one is asking you buy a garage full of goods to on sell just buy products and place them around the house or gift them out as presents.

I have a leader who after 18 months told me to do this, that and then this...I told only those of my friends that I knew wanted to and would do what is required in SFI. I have not yet told my family but I have promoted and advertised, I have connected with and help those already in SFI be it a2a members or SFI members by way of congratulating them and encouraging them to keep going. I then simply contact those who Join from my advertising, ask those in SFI how they do it and copy them and then just do what I can.

My short answer would be do what SFI members teach you and when it works talk to those you want to work with Family or Stranger if they relate to what you are doing then that would say they are interested. Simply make it a conversation and no matter who they are let them ask you a question and tell them only what you know not what you want to sell....

Oh and why I have not told any of my family is because I know they would only say, Here we go again! So after 18 months it makes it to easy for them to say, I love you but I am OK thanks johnny.

Tell those you know who want to do this but only if you know they will build this with you.

Make your conversation about products and services you get online through triple clicks for the house or for the presents you buy friends and family when you are out and about or online, tell your story don't sell the product people will buy them any way.

Simply explain how you save money,earn points, win prices, and shop on line all from one location, that is becoming a normal/ natural part of life these days anyway isn't it?

Tell everyone what excites you about SFI and triple clicks then make the connection about what it is they might just want to know about either if they ask.

All in all, my sort answer is it's does not make any difference who you talk to but rather how you talk about your experience with SFI.

Your friends and family are always there besides you and sometime you can heard advice from them when you get wrong.

On your question above, I rather focus and advertise your SFI business to strangers because only once you see them. But to face strangers you need to practice advertising you SFI business to your friends and family. Your goal is to not involve your friends and family. You just ask their help, ask them if the way you introduce your SFI business with them is effective or not. If they say Its look like spam approach, then probably you are not ready to face strangers. If they say wow its really business. Then probably you doing well.
Your friends and family might follow you when you success because they always see you.

The Proverb says, " known Devil is better than Unknown Angel ". It literally means we should always trust people who are known to us. We know their back ground, business acumen, friendliness or other wise, go-getter or what, etc, etc.

When we are able to analyze these factors of our own resources i.e family and friends we will be in a better position to promote our interests including business.

We need not cajole them beyond a reasonable limit by which time definitely they will understand our interest and will joyfully come forward to accept what we propose. And if we enjoy their trust from the past then it will be still easier to convince them to join SFI.

Where as, all these things are practically not available immediately to us with regards to strangers. It may require lot of efforts before we find at least one such person who will be willing to join based on our words.

Rather than spending our time and energy on strangers, I would suggest better we sail along with our Family and Friends. The success rate will be higher here!!!

Personally I will never promote anything to friends and family until after I have proven it works. You may say that is a bit unfair on friends and family because they could have been in sooner and helped you. I say if I can make it work without friends and family then so can they.

If you are not careful your friends can soon become a lot less friendly and you can end up an outcast in your family because of poor information you have given them, but if they have seen you strive to make a successful business they know the possibility of a good business is there and it is only themselves that can be to blame if it doesn't work.

Friends and family can be a great asset, but if they are not willing to put in the work and your success or failure depends on them then the whole relationship can change overnight.

Once you are up and running successfully, then you will not be reliant on friends and family but you will have the experience to help them and maybe accelerate their working in the business. So they are really going to be better off running with your experience to help them.

To my mind that is far better than relying on them to help you get the business going.

These are my thoughts and the way I work. I know of others with the opposing view.

My advice is, start with your friends and family! It is much better to explain everything.
Forothers, use Facebook, Twitter and other social media. Use it with your blog or website. It is very important for your ads to be concise, without some big text because people are tired of informations on internet so all they see is a good Title.
