The answer to the above question can be clear as well as very vague.
Reason for the same is that both can be wonderful targets and at the same time both can be really unrewarding.
Many retired people are of the view that they have worked enough for their life and its time to relax. Further home makers may find it difficult to find time to devote to the new assignment.
On the other hand Retired people may have lots of time and can be really easy to work with devoting required time to learn and earn. Along with the home makers can be one who have lots of time after completion of routine work and may also devote required time too.
So the call should be taken on selecting the right candidate. Before adding the mentioned target, we should ideally target the correct individual.
Finally if one has to answer it simply the answer would be Retired people will be better targets as they will have more time to devote along with their experience.

I believe limiting yourself to one demographic is a mistake. I do not mean to be rude or cruel but your results might not be what you wanted or expected.
I can not remember the statistic right off the top of my head, but I thought I saw somewhere that only 1% of people stay in SFI and are actually active. That is crazy but if true, I think the best scenario would be to saturate both demographics and any other demographic you can think of. DO NOT LIMIT YOURSELF. Or your success will be limited.

And since SFI is long term, not instant money, it might appeal to them more, as a homemaker is often in need of money right now for growing kids, etc. Whichever group you choose, I would suggest getting to know some of them personally so you will understand their wants and needs and be better able to figure out what will attract them. Later on you might want to try the other group too. But to start I think you are doing the right thing finding a niche to fill. Good luck!

I have given your question some consideration and these are my thoughts.
I believe the success of SFI is attributed to its true diversity. As individuals we find the motivation to succeed through our aspirations, irrespective of our background or circumstances.
With that in mind, I feel we should cast our net far and wide to reach our potential future Affiliates and not limit ourselves to specific groups of society.
My question to you is: Why attempt to pre-qualify anyone?
My experience in selling says that even the most unlikely candidate will buy or respond to your advert. If you want to target old people or homemakers, you are automatically excluding a very large percentage of possible affilliates.
The only pre-qualifying that would possibly work is to find those who want to achieve financial freedom. Billionaires would probably not look at this, but the person who needs to start supplementing their existing income are the target market, and that is probably 80-90% of the planet's population

Interesting question. My opinion is very specific. My ads are usually enroll people aged 25 to 50 years. After the majority of these are women. But I think this is just a consequence of the ad layout. It depends on where we put the ad, when it was placed, which field we have chosen. It is also important how our ad looks like and what we wrote in the ad.
Since we are in a time when many people are without a job, they can be our best target because everyone would like to earn money and SFI is a great offer for them.
On the other hand, the SFI is for anyone who wants to succeed in work over the internet. It is difficult to determine who is best suited for SFI.
